The iPhone is just a phone

Recently, I noticed a lot of rumors about the new version of the phone and a lot of talk and controversy about what will happen in the next Apple conference tomorrow, Monday 8/6. As most of you notice, we at iPhone Islam do not write much about these rumors and scattered sayings, and we do not write much about every news published about the iPhone and iPod Touch, even though the site specializes in that and is considered the first Arab site specialized in the iPhone, and everyone asks why?

In the end, the iPhone is simply a phone .. You should not give the iPhone all your attention, it is only a phone ... even if it was a wonderful technical and even if it helped you in matters of your life, and even that made it easier for you some of your daily needs such as browsing your mail and easy access to information And communication and helped you do your work quickly and also entertain you, but in the end it is only a phone.

We think that you should not give it great importance to become a concern of your life, if the iPhone and technology are our work and therefore we give it more attention than the usual, but this is not your job, do not give it all this attention and do not follow the news in this way and do not follow the programs in this way.

Don't be fanatic to your phone, cursing people, and say a mean Nokia user. Do not fight with your brother because he did not buy an iPhone. Do not force your wife to have one, even though she does not want it because he does not work with her when she wears the glove. And she does not always talk about him and his new programs. And do not try to dazzle the world in every council with the mighty capabilities of your phone. Do not browse your e-mail inside the mosque. Do not look at its screen for 16 hours and dream about it for the other eight hours.

Brother remember it's just a phone. And soon other companies will come with better than him. And soon there will be technologies that outpace it.

Do you remember in 1996 when the first small mobile phone, Motorola StarTAC, was released, how impressive and expensive it was, and we thought it was the end of technology.

Do you remember Nokia Communicator when it was released in 1998 and was only carried by businessmen and geniuses?

Do you remember in the year 2000 the Ericsson R380 almost the first full-screen touch mobile phone? I remember seeing him I couldn't believe my eyes.
Do you remember the first Ericsson T68 color screen phone at the end of 2001

My dear brother, you may be surprised that this conversation comes from the iPhone Islam site, but we are keen on you more than we are keen on your presence on the site. Brother, don't let the iPhone and tell him to distract you from your life and your duty. Although we appreciate technology and use it and develop it as well, we do not wish to be like the West in our extravagance on ourselves, and we will never like, dear brother, to see you in a long line waiting for the phone to come out as the Americans do.

We would like you, brother, to not forget that all of these are tools, and yes, God has given them to us to test us. Are you going to distract us? Will we be thankful? Will we fulfill the right of grace? And the Prophet of God Solomon, peace be upon him, said when he saw the grace of God (This is from the bounty of my Lord, to cause me to be thanked, or to disbelieve), so we ask God to be among the thankful.

This does not mean that we will not provide you with news, programs and everything useful in the world of technology, the iPhone and Apple. On the contrary, we are working hard to produce useful Arab and Islamic programs and help our brothers in understanding this technology and simplifying it for them. All Arab and Muslim. Therefore, we prefer to ignore everything that does not help as much as we can, and put everything that is useful in front of us so that the benefit will be spread to everyone.

Brother, the director of the blog, peace be upon you and all the distinguished members of the site. I do not completely agree with you about what you went to, God, unless there is someone who controls them the craze of the iPhone satisfactorily. The iPhone is not just a phone! If it was a normal phone, it would not have caused all the hype and interest, and this is not evidenced by the fact that you yourself have created a complete website that is concerned with the news and programs of this device. If it was an ordinary phone, it would not have deserved to have a website. The other and important thing is that a person is tempted to love technology and everything new in it, and thus follow up on its news and learn everything new about it. To say that the iPhone is a regular phone device is unfair to the potential of this device. Just because someone is addicted to it does not give you the right to make judgments like this. The iPhone to this day is considered a miracle of the times, as it changed people's perception of the idea of the mobile phone forever and put its industry in a completely new direction after companies like Nokia took control of this market and became addicted to the classics in the absence of a competitor like Apple now. Technology is just that. Finally, I say the iPhone is a device that has among its capabilities that it allows making phone calls, as it is not an ordinary phone, it is an iPhone.

I think you do not understand what is meant by the article. The intention was not that the iPhone was an ordinary or supernatural device. The point is that the iPhone is a device that we shouldn't care about too much. And we don't live for it.
Please read the comments, there are those who like you and have been clarified for them.

May Allah reward you, my brother, for this more than wonderful article. We really should not give this device more importance than it deserves, because life has other things that require attention, and technology should not distract us from other life matters and the fatigue we must endure for them.

Believe me, I was intending to buy an iPhone 3GS even though it is expensive and even though I own an iPhone 2G, but after reading this article I will be satisfied with what I have and save money on buying something else that will benefit me more.

Best regards, my dear brother, and thank you again.

Peace, mercy and blessings of God

I am a fan of the iPhone, and as Brother Abu Rasha mentioned, it is really not just an ordinary phone

Like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, or Metrola

But it has many advantages that are difficult to calculate, but everyone who is entitled must take his right

Otherwise, when you created an iPhone, Islam is not because it is just a phone, but because it is the most powerful phone and has the most powerful features.

I did not see a phone that occupied the mind of many and many people, and from those who set up blogs and forums for this phone, of course not because it is just a normal phone for sure because it is much more than that

I am against those who attack Islam’s iPhone, with all my respect for everyone, as they made us happy with many of their programs and they pleased us with their topics about this giant device

We wish the continuity and success of this wonderful blog, and we will continue to support it, God willing

We are waiting for new programs for iPhone Islam

A question to my dear brother, the blog administrator, will Arabization be assigned to firmware 3.0 or will the reliance remain on Apple's localization .. ?? And will you create translation programs into several languages .. ?? This bitterness concerns me as many others .. ?? I thank you for your understanding

My dear brother, we mentioned before in many topics and in many comments, that Arabization will stop its development because it is not possible to combine two Arabizations, and now the Arabization of Apple is very good and better than the Arabization of the iPhone - Islam.
As for the programs, God willing, there are many programs coming, and they will be in the software store, God willing.

The new iPhone from Apple, the iPhone 3GS, solves all the problems of the iPhone with a 3-megapixel camera and more and more... It is true that the iPhone is just a phone, but it is a phone that has won more than 200 patents. Yes, 200. I did not defend the iPhone, as I am not an owner or partner of Apple, but the truth must be told... For more information, visit the Apple website to see the huge difference between it and another phone, and also with a capacity of 32 GB.

It saddens me a lot when I see some people happy and gloating about the release of an Arabization from Apple, and I feel that some people are jealous and envious of what iPhone Islam has provided to the Arab user and excelled in. They forgot the long period in which they relied on Arabizing the device from iPhone Islam. The iPhone has been widespread for a long time in Arab countries, and the site has done us a great favor, even if downloading the Arabization cost a small amount, because without Arabization, the device has no value for most people in Arab countries, and iPhone Islam has the right to put an amount for their effort and staying up late on Arabization. I do not think that Apple's Arabization will be at the level of iPhone Islam, and the reason is very simple, due to the difference in the period of work and effort between iPhone Islam and Apple. Other than that, actions are judged by intentions, and the point of raising the subject is not to take the iPhone as an essential thing in your life, because the iPhone is a luxury in the end and not something that changes the course of your life, and more importantly, it does not distract you from your religion.
And also remember the free programs that are priceless with their simplicity, but they will benefit you in your religion and world ... I wish all the best to iPhone. Islam and they deserve all the best

If Yvon Aslam wanted to make money only from his programs - to make all his programs at least one dollar only, and this is his right, my brother, that people who work in the distribution of alms have the right to take from it what they spend on themselves !! For his generous saying "and those working on it," then the saying applies to Yvonne Islam that they first serve Islam and the Arabs, then the iPhone and its lovers. If this site had an idea of Arabization, it would have been called Yvon al-Arab and another name - but you have to raise your mind and read the website address carefully to learn the background of this site what it is.

Now, the West has been able to manufacture the iPhone and the iPod that descends on our Russians in Iraq, Palestine, the right and the north, and they reached space and ventured into the universe around us. Are they the creation of others? Why do we stand helpless like they did? They use China, Japan, Korea, and Mexico to help them, and we are not able to make use of the intruder of God from their products that we spend on buying them big money.
The difference is that the Westerners have a goal like the iPhone crew has an Islam goal. I remember Tariq and his team perseverance in resolving difficulties until they reached independent Arabization, and this was their goal. Now, Tariq's goal may be to produce service programs, and this is a waste of energy in a limited area. I wish the team would work on the localization of Microsoft Office (Mac), or the Arabization of navigation systems in luxury cars, or even the localization of the lists of new devices, because the benefit is more general and the horizons are wider.
May Allah reward you well for your efforts

Dear bragging about the device is required in front of other devices, and flexing the muscles of the iPhone in front of its peers is just a comparison that gives the owner of the device great confidence, and frankly I do not compare the iPhone to any other device and all agree on this because, my dear, it is not just a phone as you say ...

It is a phone - a computer - a personal assistant - a dictionary - a thermometer - a scale - a heart rate measurement - a qiblah - a noise measurement - a camera - ………………… etc

All these features make it fabulous fist-sized device
That's why we owners can take pride in it

And not despising his mighty abilities

This does not mean that our main concern is, as you said, my dear

But as the beloved said, the best of peace and blessings be upon him (for no harm or harm)

And here, no one should buy an iPhone except when he is aware of his capabilities and gives him his right to care. For your payment of a large sum for a communication device is nothing but extravagance.

But if you aim to buy the device and harness it to serve you as much as possible, then you are here to do the right thing

My words are not home from heaven

You may have hit some points ... and you may have missed others

First: Correcting a mistake in the verse mentioned in the article (This is from the grace of my Lord, to give me a blasphemy or thankfulness) ... and the correct one is: (Let me thank or disbelieve) Surat An-Naml.

Second: I totally disagree with you that the iPhone is just a phone for the following:

1. It contains an internet browser that sometimes surpasses the laptop because of its small size and ease of use without the need to turn on the laptop and turn it on.
2. It contains a GPS, which eliminates the need for the purchase of a GPS device whose price is at least $ 200. This is undoubtedly the advantage of dispensing with another electronic device in order to save money, effort and freight. (How much God saved me from a critical situation through iPhone maps) Also, there are programs to locate some services such as restaurants and others.
3. Eliminate the purchase of an iPod !!!
4. Eliminates the purchase of a high-quality mobile gaming device.
5. He sings, sings and sings …… Isn’t this enough to do justice to the iPhone and not make using it at all times an anomaly?

Note: Some of the aforementioned features may not be available in third world countries, chief among them the backward Arab countries.

Thank you first and foremost, and differences of opinion do not spoil friendliness.

Understand a lot. When we say the iPhone is just a phone, we mean that its ability does not pretend to be a phone. Rather, we meant that it is a tool, regardless of its potential, it remains a tool that we should not live for, but rather use it naturally without cost.
We do not disagree with anyone that it is the most wonderful ever, otherwise we would not have built this site. We do not write articles praising the capabilities of the phone and its wonderful design.

Praise to Allah, Lord of the Worlds

My brother Tariq Mansour, director of the blog

This time, I completely disagree with you, so it is inconceivable for a person to attach this intense attachment to something that has no value. Its time is just a phone as you say ... If it was just a phone, no one would look at it. The shape is strong and clear, the high-pitched sound and most cell phones throughout history (many of them were used before and after) are easy to hold and hold.

But when it goes beyond being a phone, such as dealing with e-mail or using GPS to determine your location and record your paths or knowing the weather and news at the moment and using alert and warning programs and calculating time and dates and browsing the Internet in all its forms and hundreds of other daily uses, as brother Jamal mentioned in his wonderful comment, it reaches hanging a picture on the wall of your house in a correct way and not tilted, in addition to reading and listening to the Quran, the call to prayer, glorifying God, calculating conversions for different currencies in seconds and performing very complex mathematical operations and various religious programs and entertaining games for you and your children and performing various conversions while you are in any place and operating surveillance cameras remotely to monitor your work and your children as if you were with them, not to mention the multiple photography programs with their awesome capabilities and exchanging files and listening to songs and watching movies... I cannot mention to you all the advantages of the iPhone that are not found in any other phone and if they are found, they are not this easy to use nor are they wonderful, accurate and enjoyable... The Accelerometer feature and its wonderful and unprecedented applications on the iPhone are enough for us. iPhone, which is not found in (just a phone), my dear brother… So the matter here is completely different, and the iPhone is not just a phone… Rather, it is a life tool and a unique assistant with you at all times and in all places, at your fingertips… Therefore, it is natural and logical that it should capture everyone’s attention and become the talk of the hour every hour… So excuse us all, my brother, for our interest in it…

I am surprised at every person who denounces on the iPhone site Islam their financial benefit from Arabization, as if the Arabization program is an easy job and requires only a few hours of work

If you, my brother, buy a device at the price of the iPhone device and then say, I wish Arabization for free, then I advise you to buy a device that does not exceed 600 riyals

It is enough that iPhone Islam had an ethical and religious message in many theses and many programs

In the name of God the Merciful

We do not deny that the iPhone is an unexpected leap in the world of technology, so we see that major companies have made several attempts to imitate the device, but they did not reach the level of the iPhone, such as Google's G1, for example.
The iPhone is a double-edged sword. It is one of Allah’s blessings upon us. It is a witness for or against you before Allah Almighty. Whoever uses it for good will find good, and whoever uses it for something else is ungrateful. In fact, we envy our brothers on the Iphonislam website and we ask Allah the Almighty to make their intentions right. Since the device appeared, their surprises have not stopped. They have gifted us with the Holy Quran, the Islamic diary, prayer times, supplications, free translation, and more. May Allah reward them on our behalf and on behalf of all Muslims with the best reward.
It is nice for the critic to be fair and moderate in his criticism. I have seen some responses to our brother Tariq’s article - may God guide him - that contain a kind of prejudice against our brothers working on the site who have contributed and are still contributing to the advancement of Islamic technology through the iPhone. To be fair and give everyone his right, even if our brothers on the site do not ask us for reward or gratitude, but they are concerned with that - we consider them, and God is their Majestic - God and the Hereafter. And I wish everyone to be a good building block in this Islamic community that benefits and benefits. The West has surpassed us by loyalty to their religion and their country.

I apologize for the prolongation, and I repeat my thanks to our brothers in iPhone Islam. And to the imam, we are with you heart and soul.

Nice words, but I think, my brother, that your rambling in the conversation has betrayed you in many phrases, and I also think that you have not yet reached a true definition of the iPhone or have not benefited from it as much as we benefit from the iPhone. It is impossible for us to consider the iPhone to be just a phone and that the iPhone is like Nokia, Motorola, and other phones. The iPhone cannot be defined as just a phone, as it is more than a laptop and bigger than a phone.

We here in the Arab world do not give technology that much attention, but there are those in the West who believe that technology is their whole life, and even their main concern. These are the people who preceded us in the field of technology and computers, and they were unable to resist this myth called the iPhone. So how can we come and say that the iPhone is just a phone?

In the name of God the Merciful

Your words are certainly true, and indeed we notice most of the youths exaggerating the importance of their devices and this is in all they own.
In cars, for example, we see a group of young people owning Toyota cars and others Nissan, and all are enemies of others, and this is what laughs and cries at the same time
Interest is entering people's lives and this is really a real success for the company that produces these tools

But if we were to come, we would find that these devices are very important, but extremely important. For example, the iPhone is a very important device. It has all the benefit of things that every person needs, such as programs that you have developed, such as prayer times, the Hijri calendar, the Holy Qur’an and the supplication program. Because of this device, a larger group of people have become read The Qur’an is anywhere to wait or to find suitable supplications for all times of the day and to know prayer times

And also through educational programs for children, the love of this device has become focused on children, so that it teaches them in a fast, smooth and simple way that children love and do not face any difficulty in dealing with it, so I think that it is important that we follow everything new to this very useful device
Of course, we should not make it a basis in our life, but rather a complement to it

Let me drag on
May God grant you success

Is this sudden jump a sincere advice or a consigned will?
If it were sincere advice, we would say, may God reward you with good and is indicative of goodness as the doers, but where were you in XNUMX and XNUMX when you were struggling and smashing the heads of competitors in the iPhone Arabization technology, the iPhone Islam group? Did not contribute to the iPhone in your emergence and the manifestation of your capabilities? Didn't you oppress us for weeks and weeks and force us to wait and protest your nights and days in programming?
Don't you think that your actions contributed to the increasing reverence of the iPhone for those you give advice today?
Did you hate the iPhone because now it is independent of your Arabization and does not need your programs? Has the iPhone become just a phone because it includes the Arabic language from a source that did not consult you?
I am an iPhone user and one of your customers, and I appreciate what you did and thank you very much for your perseverance. I do not sanctify the iPhone even though I have XNUMX iPhones, but I consider it a worthy face compared to Palm, LG, Samsung and even Nokia, because it serves more easily. I am fully confident that iPhone Islam contributed to the success of promoting and selling the iPhone in most Islamic countries as much as the iPhone contributed to the success of iPhone Islam.
