We all notice a window in iTunes and iOS devices called Home Sharing, what are its uses and how can you activate it?

Apple has introduced the possibility of Home Sharing, which reviews your music and video library on the computer on any other device, and does not need to store those files in real terms on these devices, which saves you storage space that may go to waste by copying your media on all your devices, so its presence is sufficient. On only one device that has iTunes installed, so you can view it on other devices.
You can currently use this feature to browse the media files you have on your computer to your iOS device by connecting to the same wireless network. Although this feature is not new, Apple launched it in the fall of 9, specifically in iTunes XNUMX, but it was restricted to exchanging media between computers only.
Now, in order to take advantage of this feature, you have to update your iOS device to the latest version iOS 4.3 and the iTunes program to the latest version 10.2.
- Note: Before updating please review the article Complete guide for updating your device to version 4.3
Now go to iTunes, then click on advanced or advanced from the main menu at the top of the program, then Turn on Home Sharing or activate Home Sharing. Enter your Apple ID and password (enter your account that you use in the iTunes or software store).

Activate the Home Sharing feature on an iPhone that is running version 4.3 by going to setting or Settings> iPod> then Home Sharing Login and entering the same account and password that you previously entered on your computer.

Go to the iPod program and then click More or more. You will find the Shared option, which by going to it will show you your shared libraries, or what is called Shared Libraries. Choose your library and your device will review it with a note that the library name will be in the name of your computer.

The feature is about a very wonderful experience, especially since the whole family can share one media library, but of course, as we mentioned earlier, everyone must be connected to the same wireless network (WiFi). If the library could be shared over the Internet, it would have been better, and perhaps this is what we expect from Apple soon.
