Apple has released a new update for iOS, and this update came to fix some of the defects of the previous version, and the 6.1.2 update includes iPhone 5, 4, 4S, 3GS, iPod touch 4G and 5G, iPad 2, 3, 4 and iPad mini.

The new update 6.1.2 contains improvements and corrects an issue in synchronizing the Exchange Calendar that may cause increased network activity and reduce battery life, as well as fixing vulnerabilities such as the caller access loophole.


1 To update your device, go to Settings -> General -> Software Update, it will appear to you that there is an available update and its size is as follows:

2 To download the update, you must connect to the Wi-Fi, and it is preferable to connect your device to the charger, then press the "Download and Install" button, and the terms and conditions will appear to you, then agree to them.

3 Now the update will start, so wait for the device to do the rest:

If you have a jailbreak on your device, the update will not appear, and if you update from iTunes (the jailbreak will be lost)
A statement was issued by the jailbreak team explaining that Apple did not close the jailbreak holes and released a new tool that can be obtained from this link
