One of the most important advantages of smartphones is that they always keep you in touch with the latest news, and alerts are the tool in that. If you receive a mail message, a comment on Facebook, a tweet on Twitter, or a new article from iPhone Islam, you will receive a notification within a few seconds. But this feature may be annoying to many, especially if the notification comes at an unwanted time such as the time of calls, and the alarm sound is mixed with the voice of your speaker and you do not listen to anything, so how can the alarm sound be canceled?

The problem appears clearly in prayer applications, where the alarm volume lasts and may reach 30 seconds, and during this period you cannot listen to your interlocutor and you are forced to wait until the end, although the solution is very simple, which is to press the lower or raise the volume button and the alarm will disappear.

If the alert comes while using any application or watching a video, etc., this notification can be canceled and its sound stopped by swiping it from right to left as shown in the following video:
* Note: On iOS 7, notifications will be ignored by swiping up and not left, as in systems before 7.
