We continue for the third year in this series of articles, in which we respond to the questions that we, the iPhone Islam team, receive about us and not about the problems facing our followers. In this article we will answer the most frequent comments in recent articles.

[3] iPhone Islam's responses to the readers ’questions

Why do you repeat publishing some old articles?

Sometimes it happens that we re-publish old articles, especially those that explain obscure and forgotten features for several reasons, which are:

1

Many of us forget, yes, this is true. For example, it happened to me personally that I forgot a feature Turn off acoustics By means of the timer, I did not remember this matter except when I saw our old article, so I definitely said there are people like me who forgot this feature, so readers must be reminded of it.

2

Sometimes a change occurs, for example Apple may add new features to the same point, modify the design, or change the location and method of accessing the feature, so our old article must be updated and published

3

Hundreds of new followers come to us every month, so they don't know this old information.

Most of the articles that are republished are articles that are at least 4 years old, sometimes XNUMX years old. And believe me, if it angered you by publishing an old piece of information that you know, you will find someone who admires it, as they knew it for the first time. Therefore, updating and reposting does not harm those who know, but benefits those who do not know.

Why did you come back to the comparison between Android and Apple?

In our article, in which I demanded that the breach of privacy and theft not be considered among the advantages of the comparison between Apple and Google, we were surprised by a barrage of comments attacking us, there are those who say that we have returned to the comparison between Apple and Google, and there are those who say that we have neglected dozens of advantages in Android, as well as those who said that we say that Theft is Google's only feature.

The article is not like that, but it seems that I did not agree with it. The article does not deny the existence of exclusive advantages of Google nor does it say that Google facilitates the theft on purpose. The article briefly says that there are advantages in Android, so whoever wants to compare has the right to mention them, but we invite that such-and-such feature be taken out as a feature of comparison because it cannot be considered an advantage.

I will tell you a big secret. One of our friends here at iPhone Islam “Ahmed Bello” bought an Android phone and liked it very much, and he will write an article for us soon, why he liked Android.

Why did the subtleties become so few articles?

In the past, we used to periodically publish an article about its hidden and obscure advantages, but this matter stopped several months ago, the main secret is that we do not find anything new, as most of the advantages of the system are now known to everyone. So we do what was mentioned in the first step by reviving some forgotten articles and adding changes to them over time.

Why did you mock your followers' objection to spelling mistakes?

Delete "MISTAKE"

in Previous part From the article, I talked about the reason for the repetition of my spelling mistakes and explained that my university studies were scientific and not literary, as well as there are errors due to the lack of scrutiny in the article before publishing it. Then I was surprised by comments attacking me. Some people think that this is a disregard for the readers because of my saying, “The follower here enters to read“ technical ”and not the fluency of an Arabic language. And that this cannot be said and the Arabic language must be respected. There are also those who criticized, but in a polite way, we thank him for it, such as commenting “90% of the beauty of anything that is written is in the way of writing, the style and the method of selecting the correct words with no errors” and more than one person offered to review us the articles linguistically (we thank you all for this)

I have not made fun of the Arabic language, and this will not happen. Likewise, I do not justify myself for the mistake, but admit that I am wrong, and I do not mean definitively by focusing on technology that mistakes are acceptable. But I am shocked sometimes when I spend hours thinking, writing and collecting information for a huge article and waiting to see a comment, whether like, criticism or inquiry about the mentioned, so I only find the comment is about spelling errors. This makes me feel that if I write an article without strong content but with a healthy Arabic language it will be better for them. I repeat the explanation, this does not mean that the content is a justification for error, but I would be happier if I found a critique of the content + language. It is not just the language.

A recurring question in various formats: Why do you take sides with Apple?

I apologize to those who hate repetition that we will answer this comment again. Frankly, I had thought not to respond to him, not to be taken lightly, but to repeat. We have never denied that we love Apple, this site, its writers, those in charge of it, and even the owner of the company, the account manager, the developer of the servers, and almost every work team owns an iPhone, and some of them own Mac devices and Apple TVs. So we really like Apple and we are biased towards it. Among the things that I am firmly convinced of is that there is no such thing as neutrality, and I see that this is an illusory lie. Every person has tendencies. The difference is a person who is strongly biased or slightly biased? So, you must see bias and love for Apple. This is normal. You entered a site specializing in the iPhone. For example, if you entered a site specializing in Android, would you find writers and followers there hate Android ?! So why do they acquire it?

But did bias prevent us from attacking Apple? Go back 5 years and our article warns Apple about the future of Nokia. We talked about this at a time when the company was at its peak of power and the highest market value. Another article finds that there are missing axioms in iOS and a third article we hope Apple will transfer some advantages from competitors. The list is too long. But whoever imagines that we will publish a daily critical article and an attack on Apple, this is completely illogical, as we are the site of the iPhone. Whoever wants to see a daily attack on Apple, go to the Android site, not the Apple site.

I am thinking of buying an iPhone or iPad and I asked you several times and my questions were not answered, why?

Lots of reviews ask us for advice on how to buy a device and where to buy it. We do not answer these questions because the reason is that purchasing decisions are a real money-paying matter, so it must come from within you, not that someone else chooses. In general, our advice to you will be a technique, not a specific location.

We strongly expect that Apple will, as of iOS 11, not support any device that is not a 64bit processor, and what reinforced this matter is that iOS 10.3 now shows a message that applications that did not update to 64bit will not work in the future. Therefore, if you think to buy any used device, it is recommended that:

  • IPhone 5s, SE, 6, 6s, 7, and Plus devices.
  • IPad Air, Air 2, Pro 9.7, and Pro 12.9.
  • IPad mini 3 and mini 4.
  • IPod Touch 6 only.

Unlike previous devices, you may (not 100% sure) be surprised that Apple announces iOS 4 after 11 months and that your device will not get the update.
