IOS 11 sets new standards for what is already the most advanced mobile operating system in the world, making the iPhone better than before, and increasing the capabilities of the iPad more than ever before, and now opens up possibilities for astonishing applications and games of augmented reality. IPad
IOS 11 made multitasking features on the iPad more powerful with the change of Control Center, making it customizable, and also providing quick access from any screen to the most used applications and documents.
The redesigned Control Center makes it easy to switch between different apps with the split screen feature and now there is a new feature which is an app over an app feature.
The new files app puts all content in one place, whether the files are stored on the device, in the iCloud, or in the services of other providers such as Box, Dropbox and others. And with drag and drop feature throughout the system, moving images and text is easier than ever.
The Apple Pencil has also been integrated into the iPads with support for inline drawing and the new instant notes feature that opens the Notes application from the lock screen by simply touching the screen with the Apple pen.
Developers
Augmented Reality reaches hundreds of millions of iOS devices with a new platform for developers to create apps that allow users to add augmented reality content to scenes from real reality.
And Apple announced that machine learning libraries will be available for developers on the same devices so that they can create applications that can predict, learn and become smarter.
Siri
Siri is the world's most popular personal assistant, with more than 375 million active devices accessing Siri every month in 36 countries. Thanks to the latest developments in machine learning and artificial intelligence, Siri has become more natural and expressive male and female voices, as it modifies pronunciation, tone, tone and speed during speaking, and can translate words and phrases from English to Chinese, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Siri has advantages over just using voice, as it uses on-device learning to provide more personalized experiences, and makes suggestions based on personal use of news, safari, mail, messaging, and more. For example, when Siri learns about topics or places of interest to the user while browsing on Safari, he suggests them while typing in Mail, Messages, and more.
Pictures
With iOS 11, photos can be captured in Portrait mode with optical image stabilization and flash, so every photo appears in professional quality. Live images are also becoming more expressive with new repeat and bounce effects that allow for continuous video creation, while the long exposure feature allows capturing time and movement.
And in the photos application, the memories feature has been enhanced so that it runs in both horizontal and vertical modes, and more memories are created automatically, such as birthday or pet photos, for example.
And with iOS 11, there is a new technology called the High Efficiency Image File Format (HEIF) that reduces file sizes for images captured with iPhone 7.
Pay friends
Apple's payment service users will be able to pay friends and relatives and receive payments from them quickly, easily and securely, as they can send and receive money in the messaging application directly or by requesting the payment method for a specific person using credit cards stored in the wallet app.
When users receive the money, it arrives in the new Apple Pay Cash account. They can instantly send money to someone else, use it to make purchases through Apple Pay in stores, apps, or on the web, or transfer it from Apple Pay Cash to their bank account.
Do not disturb while driving
IOS 11 introduces a new way to help drivers focus on the road with Do Not Disturb while driving. The iPhone can sense that you are driving and automatically silence notifications and darken the screen. Users can choose to send an automatic reply to their favorite contacts to inform them that they are driving and that they will not be able to reply until they reach their destination.
