Apple relies heavily on its users 'attachment to it, and millions around the world wonder about the secret of its users' attachment to it. We have previously explained some of the psychological tricks that Apple uses, whether in stores or to train its employees (Read this article). But another secret is that the apple prepares its fans for every move. In this article, we will talk about how Apple plans each step and prepares us for big changes.

IPhone zoom in 2014

For many years, Apple has relied on a small iPhone phone that can be used entirely with one hand, even when it launched the iPhone 5 and increased the size of the phone from 3.5 inches to 4.0, the phone continued to be just as easy to use with one hand. But suddenly in 2014 the phone suddenly swelled to 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches making full one-handed use extremely difficult and even impossible. But how did Apple prepare for this matter in advance?

Since iOS 1 (or its old name iPhone OS) and even iOS 6, the reason for the “one-handed” point is that going back in everything via the upper left or right “depending on language” button, but when the phone gets bigger, it becomes impossible to access it easily. So Apple decided in iOS 7 to re-introduce the system with a new design, and its most important advantage is that the return is by pulling from the edges of the screen. Apple users continued for 12 months until they got used to forgetting the button at the top. When the iPhone came in a huge size, we were used to forgetting the button at the top. And Apple added to the emergency for those who are not accustomed to touching twice on the screen button to download the screen.

With this, screen enlargement did not become a problem when using this, and this is what Apple is doing. It is preparing and planning well for the next, unlike if Apple suddenly decided to zoom in and said, "Come on, learn a new method of use," but taught us a new method first.

Apple Pay payment system

Imagine that Apple suddenly says to you, "Go ahead, pay money with your phone by touching it, and rest assured that this method is safe." Of course, there will be anxiety even with our confidence in Apple. Is the system secure enough? So Apple prepared us a year ago as follows:

IPhone 5s: With the iPhone 5s, Apple launched the fingerprint and made us try for a whole year and see that it is a really safe way to secure the content of the device.

◉ Keychain: With iOS 7 in the same year, it provided the Keychain feature, whose advantages include saving credit cards for use on websites.

Then, 12 months later, Apple "metaphorically" told us: Hello! You have trusted the footprint for a year and tried to save our credit cards. What do you think of merging the two features together to pay cards in stores and the method of insurance is the fingerprint. Indeed, the feature was launched and received tens of millions of users immediately, with complete confidence and without any worries.

IPhone X

During my analysis of the iPhone X, I was surprised that Apple repeated the same philosophy of preparing for a change a year ago. The basic problem of the iPhone X is that we are accustomed to the screen button, so how can we cancel it! Last year, Apple came under fierce criticism for scrapping the pull-to-unlock idea. How did Apple strive to reduce the difficulties?

At the WWDC conference last year, and during Apple's review of the advantages of iOS 10, I mentioned a very strange and incomprehensible feature that is caused by that when you lift the phone, it lights up. Justified at the time that it is an easy way to see any notification on the lock screen, but why do you run sensors to recognize that you raised the phone to provide you with just a press of the button. But the secret we learned at its previous conference when it launched the iPhone X

The screen button had to be pressed once to wake up the phone and that's what we've been doing involuntarily for 9 years. So she wanted Apple to train us on something new and for a year so that we get used to the phone shining by raising it; Don't hit the button, forget it please. And over a year until millions got used to this matter and then said this is a phone called X that does not have a screen button. If Apple hadn't tried this thing, whenever we raised the X we would look at the button to press it, but now we are used to that there is no button to press on it but rather it will light up automatically as it happens with 7 and 6s

Important clarification

Apple made many steps procedures, not just the former. But certainly none of them means that Apple has removed the obstacles, but has sought to reduce them. If we assume that a shocking change causes a problem on a scale of 100, for example, Apple's steps reduce it to 30 degrees. Thus, when you find a new feature or a big change, it feels difficult, but not so shocking, that it causes you to feel negatively with your phone. Only a little tightness you will get used to after a while. Also, this method will benefit Apple in studying users and advantages and trying them before their release. So what is better than using a quarter of a billion people as a sample of future experiences.

What do you think of Apple's way of preparing for the shocking changes and benefits ahead of its release, and have you thought about this before?
