Hours ago, Google announced the update of its personal assistant, Google Assistant, equivalent to Siri, which beats it in all tests. The new update came to support the Shortcut feature in a way that allows you to call the Google Assistant and use it with Apple's "Siri" assistant.

Now use Apple Siri Assistant to summon Google Assistant

To activate Google Assistant with Siri shortcuts, do the following steps:

1

Download the Google Assistant application, and it should be noted that the application is not available in stores in some countries, including the Egyptian and Saudi, but of course you can download it from the most famous “American” store.

2

Download the Shortcuts app if you don't have it already.

3

Open the Google Assistant application, then click on the sign in the bottom right, and an option to add to Siri shortcuts will appear, so click on it.

4

Now you will be prompted to add the phrase by which the Google Assistant is called. The basic and most popular phrase is Ok Google.

5

Now, at any time, you can call the Google Assistant with the words Hey Siri Ok Google, and in seconds, the Google Assistant app will open and ready to listen. That is, you can say the previous phrase and wait for two seconds, then ask Google for the application to respond to you. That is, as if you were asking Siri directly.

Google Assistant does not support the Arabic language, but it is expected to support it in the coming months
