Save and store Wi-Fi network

◉ Click on the shortcut, you may see a message like the following.

◉ Go to Settings - Apple ID account, then iCloud, then scroll to the bottom and activate the Shortcuts app.

◉ Click on the shortcut again and once it opens click on the play icon.

◉ A window will appear asking you to save the current Wi-Fi, choose Yes.

◉ A window will appear, in which you will type the password for the Wi-Fi, then OK.

◉ Another window will appear, asking about the type of network you have, whether it is WEP or WPA. If you are not sure of your network type, you can check your router.

Mostly the primary standard at the moment is WPA and WPA2, so start with any of them. You can repeat these steps for any other Wi-Fi networks you want to share in the future. You will have experience and it is easy for you.

Share a Wi-Fi network

Once you have completed the previous steps and run the shortcut, another window will appear with the options “Save Wifi”, “MyWifis” and “Setting”.

◉ Select MyWifis. The networks that you previously saved will appear. Choose the name of the network you want to share.

◉ A window will appear containing some options, including “Show QR Code” or “Show QR Code” and “Show Details” or “Show Details” and “MyWiFi PDF” to output the data and details in a PDF file.

It seems that the easiest way to share Wi-Fi is to choose Show QR Code or Show QR Code. In this case the guest can open the camera and point it to the blade only. For iPhones, the default camera application includes a QR code scanning feature, as do most Android devices. The guest will then be prompted to access the Wi-Fi network and this is simple.

If your friend's Android device does not have a built-in QR code scanner in the camera, he will need to install a scanner app. We recommend that you install a reliable application made by the well-known security company Kaspersky Lab.

And for Android owners

Once you open the application and point the phone to the QR code on the iPhone screen, you can join the Wi-Fi network.

◉ The other two options for Wi-Fi sharing can sometimes be useful. For the "Show Details" or "Show Details" option, the network name and password will be shown in plain text.

◉ For the PDF option, the network name and password will be displayed in addition to a QR code, and you can send this data to the printer for printing.

And you can share your Wi-Fi data via the posts window by clicking on the share icon in the upper left or right.
