In a funny accident, an American woman was wearing her AirPods when one of them fell on the metro track at a New York metro station. And the lady insisted on taking it back, so how can she spend her day without her, especially in the gymnasium she used to go to. How did she get it back without the risk of jumping onto the metro track? Does the absence of one AirPods affect the other? Follow us.

Ashley Meyer considered last Tuesday a tough day for her, when one of her AirPods fell on metro tracks in New York City. Meyer asked for help from the metro operator to retrieve her headphones, and they told her that she had to wait at least two hours, and she must be present. A passerby offered to help him to jump onto the metro tracks and get a stethoscope, but she refused to risk his life. And she made a decision to save her headphones in her own way.

Meyer thought of a clever trick to save her headphones: get a broom handle and duct tape. And it succeeded in the end and got it back again.

Use the AirPods separately
AirPod can be used individually, and some even consider this to be a desirable feature of the majority of the time. You can make calls and listen to different audio with one ear, while the other ear remains free to listen and pay attention to what is going on around you.

Also, one of the advantages of using one AirPod is that it is used for a long time without charging more than usual, so if it runs out of charge, you can switch it to the other to get a longer listening experience.
To use only one AirPod, place one in your ear and leave the other in the charging case. It will automatically detect which one is in use and will be paired with the iPhone.
If you are using both together and decide to use one, peel them off together and reapply only one. Then the stereo sound will be converted to monaural for the best listening experience. And when you put the second AirPod in your other ear, it switches to stereo mode automatically.
