Apple recently revealed, for the first time in its history, a new generation of iPad without conferences, due to the global Corona virus epidemic. Apple has developed the iPad Pro in several points, namely:
◉ The processor has been modified; Previously it was the A12X and everyone expected to see the A13X, but Apple decided to launch a new processor under the name A12Z, and the differences announced so far is that it includes 8 graphic cores compared to 7 cores in the A12X, and this is the secret of changing X to Z because usually these icons are placed because here is an improvement in Graphics and GPU performance. The new processor includes the same M12 co-processor without updating.
◉ The camera has been updated to be the same as the iPhone 11 Pro camera.
◉ There has been no change in the length, width and thickness of the iPad, although there has been a slight increase in weight "approximately 10 grams" and perhaps the reason is a change in the type of internal components.
◉ There are neither any differences in the screen nor its resolution.
◉ iPad Pro 2020 offers the same battery performance as the previous iPad.
IPad Pro 2020 distinguishes itself from its predecessor 2018 in two main points, namely the LiDAR sensor and the new keyboard.
LiDAR sensor
In the camera, Apple introduced a new sensor called LiDAR, which is short for Light Detection and Ranging, and its idea is similar to ToF sensors, as the sensor recognizes the time it takes for light to reach objects and reflection. Apple says that this sensor is very advanced and is the same one used by the US space agency NASA in the upcoming Mars landing operation.
Apple said that the sensor can recognize distances accurately even after 5 meters and at high speeds, which will make iPad Pro 2020 the best device in the world dedicated to augmented reality "according to Apple."
Magic keyboard
As in the picture above, Apple advertises the iPad with an all-new keyboard with a different design that makes the iPad in a higher level so that you can use it better. The magnetic board, which Apple called the Magic Keyboard, will be connected to the iPad in a magnetically shaped manner, meaning that it is very attached to the iPad, so there is no need, but it is based on the table. It is a floating "term that Apple used." Apple said you can control the angle and height as you see fit.
In addition to the design, it includes a keyboard similar to the one in a personal computer, that is, it includes a touch trackpad part and a USB C port that allows the charging to pass, i.e. you will connect the charger to the keyboard to be charged with it and the iPad together. The buttons come with a low response distance of 1mm, which makes typing on them easy, fast, comfortable and also quiet.
Price and availability in the market
◉ The iPad Pro price starts from $ 799 for an 11-inch 128GB Wi-Fi version, and you can look at the following picture to learn about the prices of other capacities. And adding a 4G chip (i.e. iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular) means increasing its price by $ 150 and converting it to the Pro version of $ 12.9 means an increase of $ 200.
