My experience of Swords of Glory, you must try it too!

We wrote about a game yesterday Swords of GloryAnd since I am a lover of games, no matter how many games I try, the search will never end in order to find the next great game. (If you're a gamer like me, you know that feeling.) So I tried a game Swords of Glory. It particularly intrigued me as it being a strategy game but for the first time (for me) with an Arabic flavor. It is centered around the period of the Crusades and takes its inspiration from the names of the battles from historical events such as the siege of Fractal Cordon. And your goal is to liberate Al-Aqsa from an Arab point of view. His occupation is not with the Crusaders, as you might find in a similar Western game.

The start with the game and the battles

In the beginning, of course, as with most games, you are directed to learn the basic gameplay and some of the game's features. It begins in a battle against the crusaders to demonstrate how the soldiers and tactics were used in an easy battle.

After playing a little while and starting to choose your own battles, you can click on the sign of the Dome of the Rock representing Jerusalem to the right of the Kingdom. Thus, you will be taken to the battle selection screen, which is arranged like the Story Line, in order to advance from one battle to another in order to repel the Crusaders or advance in their regions.

When selecting a battle, you are taken to the battle preparation window. The battle leader can be selected from several commanders. You win them throughout the game, whether you buy them, acquire them by advancing the game, or win battles. Then you choose the battalions from your army to participate in the battle. Of course, not the entire army will go to fight. In the same screen, you can see the types of enemy battalions and their level of strength, so that you can plan your battalions in a way that would be best for victory.

And for battles, the soldiers attack and take position automatically when the enemy engages. But you can move them to make strategic plans. The cavalry was placed in the front to attack the heavy force of the enemy, the infantry on the other side and possibly the archers at an extreme or backward position, in order to provide the battalion with adequate support.

You can also use Commander's Tactic during battle. It's a special ability that you drag from the side of the screen and place it on the field. And it differs according to the battle leader. The tactic of Shajarat al-Durr is to increase the attack strength of all army brigades in the area for a specified period, by charging enthusiasm. As for Nour al-Din, his tactic is to bomb the enemy for one time and cause heavy losses.

Chapters of the game

In addition to team play, each player has his own line of chapters in the game. It appears at the bottom of the main screen with small stories, complete with historical dates and events. And you progress through these chapters by completing missions. Whether to develop the city or that military ones. Each mission gives you a reward of gems (a currency is more precious than gold in the game). Then after completing all the small tasks, you can get the big class bonus. Gold, gems and natural resources that you use to develop your city.

Forge alliances

Of course, it is no longer enough to play alone in such games. So as expected, you can form alliances and gather your friends with them. You can also join alliances as other players.

Frankly, I was apprehensive as I wasn't waiting for someone to accept me in an alliance to begin with. Or I can find one at all. But I found calls from alliances not so long ago heaped upon me. And she joined one already.

Alliances enable you to talk and share experiences with Alliance members. You can also launch collective campaigns against other players, share the spoils, and strengthen each other.

Develop leaders

As mentioned earlier, you can have multiple leaders. Then use them to lead various battles. You can also designate a commander to be your sultan and replace the current one. And each commander has his own abilities to increase the production or war capabilities of the city differently.

It also continuously develops leaders by advancing levels. And increase their experience and strengths. This increases the strength of their combat and administrative tactics. Which increases you strength and speed in managing resources.

Upgrade your war capabilities, or become the economist

What I liked about the game is that it does not focus entirely on wars and battle stories only. I consider myself an economist in strategy games. I love developing resources and wealth. This is what I found in Swords of Glory. Where you have talent points that you earn as you advance in game levels and complete missions. These points can then be used either to develop your combat, tactical, and army strength, or to improve your production and economic capabilities. This is the path I took.

More

With my experience of the game Swords of Glory I found out more of course. Such as sending negotiators to other kingdoms to make trade deals, choosing them appropriately according to their skills, or developing a small village next to the kingdom. Of course, you can do all this while talking to other players, whether from your alliance or outside, via the chat box below.

To wrap up. Swords of Glory is an excellent experience for anyone who wants to switch to their next favorite game. I recommend it to anyone who has tried a strategy game before or even was waiting for the appropriate game to enter the exciting world of these games.

This app is no longer available in the store. 🙁

Give the game a try and don't forget to check out all the tricks you can find!

Despite the Arabic name, they use the name "Jerusalem" or "Jerusalem". Arabs call it “Jerusalem” the capital of Palestine.
In the drawings, they use the western style of throwing the arrow for archers, and the Arab method is to place the arrow to the right of the bow and not to its left, and this is what distinguishes the Arab method because it increases accuracy in aiming and increases the speed in throwing.
The game adds a "Crusader" hero, and we do not know why and we cannot get rid of him or replace him, and whether there are no Arab or Muslim heroes with this specialization in order to stay with this character who is a criminal like the rest of the Crusaders and what they did in terms of massacres and massacres against civilians and defenselessness and Even the pilgrims.
With the presence of alliances, the game will end until the Arab state alliance "S" to attack the Arab state alliance "Y" as an example, and I do not know why the alliance is not made against crusader groups chosen by the game and according to strength and regionalism ... etc. And the conclusion of the current game is our attack on each other .
