Apple Maps

● Indoor maps feature for airports and malls that allow users to make the most of their trips or shopping trips. By simply opening the Maps application, the user can know the floor in which it is located, the locations of the restrooms, and even the shops and restaurants open.

Privacy in Apple Maps

Privacy is one of the basics that are indisputable in the Apple Maps application experience, as it provides custom features designed using smart technology on the device. And because Apple is committed to keeping your personal information secure, it has integrated privacy into the core of the Maps app.

● No sign-in is required to use the Maps application, and it is not connected to the Apple account in any way.

● Personalized features such as suggesting a departure time for your next appointment are designed using smart technology on the device.

Any data that Maps collects while using it, such as search terms, directions, and traffic information, is linked to random identifiers that are constantly reset to ensure the best possible experience and improve the Maps app.

● The Maps application took additional steps to block the user's location on Apple's servers when performing searches, through a process known as “jamming”.

● The Maps application converts the exact location in which the search is originated to a less accurate location after 24 hours and does not keep a record of what was searched for or the places the user went to.
