Converting YouTube videos to written articles is also useful if you want to watch something but don't want other people to see that you are watching it, such as when you are at work or school. Shortcut for converting YouTube clips into articles

◉ A page will automatically open in the Shortcuts app, tap Get Shortcut.
◉ Scroll down and click "Allow untrusted shortcuts".
◉ And then you will find that the shortcut has been added to the library.
◉ Then open the posts window when you see a video on YouTube or any browser, then press more.
◉ With the share sheet open, and clicking more, scroll down and find the “Read Video in Videoticle” shortcut, then click on it.
That's all you have to do to convert the video into an article. The shortcut accepts URLs, which is why it works in the YouTube app and in the browser.
Convert a video into an article
A webpage inside the app will open with the article ready for reading on the Videoticle. At the top of the article, you will see the title of the video, its creator, and the number of subscribers. The content appears below, with video clips at various times between paragraphs.
To make the video easier to read, enable "line breaks" or "line breaks" below the search box. Thus, the article will be divided into paragraphs and small lines. Next to it, try another format or language to see if there are other languages available to read the article in.
Click "Done" at the top whenever you want to return to the YouTube or video browser page.
