Choose your photo

Once you've installed your chosen app, open it and tap "Add" or the + sign at the top, and grant the app permission to access the photos if prompted. All photos will be displayed in the Photos app, including all of your albums. And to select the image you want to use, just click on it. While you can select multiple images then click "Add".

Disable "Show date in widget" (optional)

However, if you want a simple and clean image on your home screen, you will need to disable date display with image. Just head over to Settings, then disable the toggle next to "Show date in tool."

Add your widget

Finally, you are ready to add the widget to your home screen. To do so, press and hold the Home screen wallpaper until you enter vibrate mode, then tap the (+) button at the top to add a widget. Now, look for a photo widget PictureWidget. It might appear immediately as a suggested tool, but if it doesn't, you just need to scroll down and select it from the list.

Once you do that, you will see the sizes of the three widgets (small, medium, and large). Choose the desired look, then click "Add a widget" or drag the widget directly to your home screen where you want it.
