How to save a Safari webpage to notes on a Mac, an iPhone, and an iPad

There is no easier way than taking a note from Safari in the Notes app. Whether you're doing school research or a business report, planning a trip or event, or wanting to jot down an article, the integration of iOS apps makes it simple. In this article, we'll show you how to share a Safari webpage with a new, current, or installed note on your Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

Share a Safari webpage in Notes on Mac

You have two quick ways to add a web page from Safari to Notes on your Mac. So use whichever is most comfortable for you. And if you don't see the Notes option, you might have to refresh your Mac's share list.

◉ Click on File> Share> Notes> from the menu bar.

◉ Click the Share button from the Safari toolbar and choose Notes. You will see the link icon displayed in the note automatically. But you can write more text above or below it if you like.

Besides choosing a note, you can select a location for your note or add it to an existing location.

◉ Under New Note at the top of the popup window, you can select one of your folders. From there you can choose a subfolder if you like. By default, every popup has a New Note option right at the top.

◉ Below the folders, you will see your pinned notes indicated by the install icon. So adding to one of these would be easier.

Finally, you have the rest of your notes. You can add to a shared note and have a contact icon next to it.

◉ The only limitation you have is if you want to add to a locked note, and if you try, you will see this note in gray and thus not clickable.

If you have a lot of folders, subfolders, and notes, you can use search.

Share a Safari webpage in Notes on iOS

You can share a webpage from Safari to the Notes application on the iPhone and iPad as quickly and easily as it is the case on the Mac. Click the Share button and select Notes in the second row of the Share Sheet. If you don't see the notes, select more to add them.

You can perform a quick save and send the note to your default Notes account using the link icon. Or, tap New Note and then search for Folder or Subfolder.

◉ Each folder and subfolder contains your notes arranged with pinning to the top and remaining notes at the bottom.

◉ Shared notes contain a contact icon like on Mac, locked notes are greyed out and cannot be identified.

◉ The Create New Note button is located at the bottom of every screen and the search box is at the top.

If there is one thing Apple is good at doing with its apps, it is the integration between them that makes it much easier. So remember how easy it is to save webpages from Safari to the Notes app on iOS and Mac.

Thank you for your kind efforts, but (for me personally) I saw that the manner in which the article was written is not clear, so perhaps the article is translated from another language, but I added my note in order to develop the drafting of the articles, with my love and respect.
