There are a lot of great shortcuts that you can run on the iPhone and make your iPhone experience smarter and smarter, but in iOS 13 and iOS 14You will likely see shortcut notifications anytime you try to run anything short, and shortcuts are supposed to run smoothly when performing their actions, and having a banner alert at the top of the screen every time makes it annoying. But there is always a solution, know it.

For example, you might have a Dynamic Wallpaper shortcut To change the background Automatically based on any procedure you specify, that is, the change may be automatic at a certain time that you specify, or for example when you click three times on the back of the phone or other gestures that you specify. The important thing is that the matter is spoiled by the banner notification that appears when the shortcut changes the background. Without a doubt, without these notifications, it could be more amazing if done quietly without disturbing.

To stop this type of notifications from appearing on the screen, you will have to disable notifications for the Shortcuts app. However, Apple has made this more difficult since the release of iOS 13. In iOS 12, you can go to Settings - Notifications - Shortcuts, or Settings - Shortcuts - Notifications, to turn it off.

And if you try to do that in iOS 13 or iOS 14, you won't find any of this. But there is also a solution to this.

◉ Open Settings, and go to "Screen Time" or "Screen Time"

◉ Click on "See All Activity" below the daily average.

If Screen Time is disabled, click "Turn On Screen Time" first, but you will need to wait a few hours or even a day or so for Screen Time to have enough data to show you what you need. If this is the first time you have opened “Screen Time,” you will need to click “Continue” on the start screen and tell that your device is the one to turn on.

After that, scroll to the notifications section at the bottom and find "Shortcuts," then tap it. You may need to select "Show more" if you do not find it at the top of the list. If it is not selectable, not activated, or is not in the list, use the arrow buttons at the top of the screen to choose a different day or week, depending on which view you are in. Once you see "Shortcuts" appear next to it, click on it.

Now, turn off "Allow Notifications" at the top and exit settings. Disabling notifications for shortcuts will not cause its notification settings to appear via traditional methods in the Settings app, which is a different result than when setting a new default web browser or email app in iOS 14, so it's different here.

Downsides to blocking shortcuts notifications

Of course, if we disable notifications for shortcuts it would be great, but not all the time, there are some downsides to doing that.

First, That notifications will not appear for shortcuts or automation that you may actually need or want to see, means that notifications are completely disabled.

Second, It will not disable the banner notifications that appear in iOS 14.3 and later for any custom app icon shortcuts. So if you change all your app icons to custom icons on your home screen, you will still see the name of the shortcut with a sign hanging from the top of the screen every time you open one of these apps.

Third, It will be difficult to turn notifications for shortcuts back on. Since the notification preferences for shortcuts do not appear in the normal way in settings when disabled, how do you re-enable them?

You will use the same process above, only if notifications are disabled for shortcuts, you will not see the shortcuts appear in the list. This means that you will have to go back in time until you find the shortcuts in the list somewhere, which can be a lot more difficult and time-consuming than they seem.

The easiest way to get it back is to add a shortcut “Show notifications", And define"Update notification settingsThen run.Allow notifications" one more time.

Disabling notifications for shortcuts might not be something you can do because it spoils the shortcuts as you need to see those alerts, which is why Apple needs to make things easier for us. It is easy to add an option that enables you to toggle between turning off or disabling notifications in the three-dot menu (•••) for each shortcut, so that we can only turn off all alerts related to that shortcut. Or put it while preparing the shortcut.
