Apple keeps iMessage away from Android to keep the user inside its walled garden

do you remember The battle between Apple and Fortnite Owned by IPIC which The game has been claimed outside the Apple App Store After adding a payment system outside the Apple system, both companies are currently preparing to enter a new battle through the court and each company has a huge file of violations committed by the other company and this time IPIC is playing on the part of the Apple ecosystem and how Apple is using it to prevent competition.

What's the story

IPIC tried to add more charges against Apple and after the monopoly and banning competition, it said that Apple took many measures to lock people in its ecosystem, and one example of this is the iMessage application and that Apple did not provide an Android version to keep users in its system.

In a development of the case, some Apple executives openly admitted that they were working on the Android version of iMessage, but they decided to abandon this matter because they would gain more if the Messages app remained outside the Google operating system.

Apple ecosystem

Eddie Cue, senior vice president of Internet programs and services at Apple, said that during his nomination, he indicated that there are plans to make the iMessage application available on Android phones as it would have been compatible with the iPhone system and so that users would be able to exchange messages with each other smoothly, but this is did not happen.

During his testimony with Craig Federighi, vice president of software engineering, Eddy acknowledged that placing the messaging app on Android would simply remove an obstacle for families of iPhones to give their children Android phones. This is what Apple thought, where Android phones for children can be obtained very cheaply and it will be Android is the best choice for children, assuming that the application works with both systems. If the application is available on the iPhone, this will make parents give in to the idea that they have to buy Apple products.

Phil Fisher, who was Apple's Marketing Director and is now Apple Fellow (meaning someone who worked for Apple and was honored and now works as a consultant and advisor for the company, and sometimes has shares in the company) said publicly that the Android system should not get the iMessage app and the reason is that Apple wants to The application is only reserved for iPhone users and its availability for Android users will harm the company more than help it.

So for all the talk over the years about the chances of iMessage reaching Android and that Apple might do so, it's not true because the company wants to lock its users into its walled garden.

How about you, do you think Apple did so that its users wouldn't turn away from its devices? Let us know in the comments.

Honestly, I am one of the people who has a system of any message that is available on all platforms, because I am one of its users, and one of the reasons why I do not rely on Android is FaceTime and any records because I use them on a daily basis with my family

From a person surrounded by Apple from every side, I say that it is a despicable act and it illustrates the extent of the exploitation of this company and its pure materialism.
The company is close to the third trillion and is still the same greedy thing that makes a person really hate it despite its technical creativity.

Apple is the one who developed iMessage, and it is the god of the right to decide whether or not to launch it on Android
As for me, I only use iMessage with one person, but one of my friends. As for the rest of the people, they are all on WhatsApp, so iMessages never was the thing or feature that kept me with the apple.

I fully support Apple's position on not providing iMessage on Android phones.

Apple’s words are correct and supported it in its decision. No one accepts the release of a feature of its operating system to others, whether for Android or other systems.

Steve Jobs set a clear goal that Android should be eliminated, not supported, and this old strategy will not change for reasons you brought in in this article, and another is related to the credibility of the apple. It was insensitive to security like the Apple TV Plus, so the correspondence needed advanced protection protocols and the inclusion of such a clear recognition program for the Android security level, except that this is questioned by the apple itself.
Are the safe and the hackers equal ?!

Apple's decision may result in it losing the case against Evic.

IMessage is only used by America, Britain and the English-speaking countries, I think, and every world is either WhatsApp or WeChat, so I would not expect that it would separate with us in the Arab world specifically if Apple provided its Android app or not

Logical and unsurprising thinking. Every company that wants a competitive advantage and Apple is a developer of iMessage and has the right to develop it on the operating system that it deems appropriate for it and by analogy, television broadcasting companies are not entitled to demand Netflix, for example, to display its exclusive works on other channels

I hate this company because it is purely material and its products are very expensive, and because if it does something bad, most of the companies do the same. Oh Lord, this company will be destroyed, and to create better Arabs and be the ones in control of the world.

Apple has a lot of great applications, services and features
You ask yourself why are all companies imitating Apple for bad needs (according to some people) and what they imitate good needs
Such as the global warranty, the quality and beauty of the hardware industry, the quality of services and the consistency between the different devices

Samsung imitates Apple in the latest version. Proof that the Galaxy S21 has a cloud, and Android did not have a cloud before except in the latest version. The cloud before except in the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
