Twitter: Ability to change who can reply to your Tweet after it has been posted

The option to decide who can reply to a tweet has already existed since last year, but users had to choose who could reply before the tweet was posted. Now they can make that decision after publishing the post.

Changing the options for replying to a tweet posted is simple. Click the ellipses (dots) menu in the upper-right corner of a Tweet and select “Change who can reply” from the dropdown menu, from which you can choose one of the same three options available when composing a Tweet: “Everyone,” “People you follow,” and “People.” only those I referred to.

Twitter is canceling the Fleets feature just months after its launch

Last November, Twitter rolled out a new ephemeral 24 hour tweeting option called Fleets. This feature is found in Instagram Stories, Facebook Stories, Snapchat, and others. It seems that the feature did not succeed, as Twitter is an interaction-based platform and the company wants the user to stay in it for a longer time, unlike this feature. Apple threatens to leave UK market over $7 billion patent dispute

Lawyers representing Apple have suggested that the company could exit the UK market if the dispute continues over the terms of the patent, which it has described as commercially inadmissible.

British patent holder Optis Cellular Technology has sued Apple for patent infringement after it refused to pay a license fee of about $7 billion for its use of "standardized" smartphone technology in its devices. Last month, a British High Court judge ruled that Apple had infringed two Optis patents relating to technology that enables devices to connect to cellular networks. Optis has also made a number of additional claims about Apple patent infringements. “Everyone thinks Apple is the market leader in smartphones, but Apple has to buy most of the iPhone components and technology,” commented Kathleen Fox Murphy, an attorney representing Optis.

This company and others are considered non-practicing entities that hold patents and their income is only through patent litigation, known as patent trolls.
