Although the iOS 15 update supports iPhone 6s, any 2015 phones, this is really impressive, but you will not get all the features of iOS 15, as it requires advanced capabilities such as the new Live Text feature and spatial audio in FaceTime, it requires iPhone XS or XR And later any equipped with an A12 processor or later. But there is no doubt that these devices will inevitably benefit from many other advantages. In this article, we follow the most important features that the iOS 15 update brought, you can see the first part of this Link.

shared with you

A new feature makes it easier than ever to collect the things your friends share with you via messages and then access them from anywhere, through more than one app. For example, in Safari, open a new tab and scroll past Favorites on the home page. Scroll down until you see Shared with you or The new Shared With You, you'll find All the web links your friends send you, from multiple conversations in the Messages app, will be grouped into one place and tagged with the sender's name and photo.

The same also applies to Apple Music, Podcasts, Apple News and the Apple TV app, all of these apps will have a new section called “Shared with you” and you will find everything related to the audio app with the music and video app with Apple TV and so on.

It works with photos as well, but in a more sophisticated way than other apps, as the feature automatically embeds related photos directly into the photos timeline. You'll find them in the For You tab, but iOS 15 will try to pick out the photos you care about and show them as if they were part of your library. This will include things like photos you're already in, or even those that were taken in places you also happened to be.

You can also pin important shared items to the Messages app to make sure you can find them easily later, and from the Shared with you section of each Apple app, you can tap the sender's name to bring up the original conversation without leaving the current app.

New design for safari

Since Apple announced the iOS 15 update at the Worldwide Developers Conference and we got to know the new design, its time has been controversial, for example, it was crowded with buttons, but Apple has made a lot of tweaks since then, until it became better in general.

Users can now choose whether they want the address bar at the bottom of the screen or at the top as it was in the old layout. Those who opt for the bottom position won't have to suffer from the clutter of those cluttered buttons as in early betas, the old Bottom Button Bar is back too, providing quick access to the back or forward, share, bookmarks, and tab overview buttons.

Introduced Safari Tab Groups, which allows you to organize your tabs in a whole new way. Tab groups sync with your other devices via iCloud, and you can move between them at any time. You can now view pages as a grid instead of stacked pages like in previous iOS versions.

Several new features have been added such as a customizable start page that also syncs with iPad and Mac, voice search, and more privacy features.

Facetime for the web

When Apple first revealed FaceTime, Steve Jobs said that the service would soon be open source and available to everyone, which never happened, and Apple kept the feature for itself, adding it to all of its devices. Now Apple began to expand and made it available to everyone, even Android and Windows users, but it was too late, as the most appropriate time for it was the time of the ban and closure, i.e. since the beginning of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, then the Zoom application had the lion's share, but:

“Better late than never.”

You can now invite friends and family even those who don't use Apple devices to make FaceTime video calls, similar to other apps like Zoom. When you open FaceTime, you can create a link to share with others, who can join the session via web browsers on Windows or Android devices.

Instead of launching an app for either platform, you will send a FaceTime link via your preferred platform to an Android device or computer using the contacts who can then use a browser for the video call.

To create a FaceTime link

Open FaceTime and tap the Create Link button. or New at the top of the screen. The FaceTime link will be created automatically, the Shares sheet will open to choose how you want to send the link to someone else, while the FaceTime app will ask you to enter a contact name and then send the link via messages and open FaceTime to call on iPhone or iPad.

The person receiving the FaceTime link will need to open it and enter their name when prompted and then click Join after previewing their video.

Facetime calls just got more professional

You will now be able to make video calls in Portrait mode with focus on the face and not the background for a cool and more professional look, similar to turning on this mode when taking a picture but it will look much nicer and give you more control over what people see when watching the video.

While other video chat apps like Zoom and Microsoft Teams have added blurry background options a while ago, it's usually used more in professional settings.

How to turn on portrait mode on FaceTime calls

◉ When making a FaceTime call, tap the box where your video appears. This will enlarge and center your video square, with new options.

◉ Tap the photo icon in the upper left corner of the screen and the portrait mode will be activated and make the background blurry instantly.
