SharePlay feature

  • SharePlay is a new way to share synchronized FaceTime experiences with content from the Apple TV app, Apple Music, and other supported Apple Store apps
  • Shared controls let everyone pause, play, rewind or fast forward
  • Smart Volume Automatically lowers the volume of a movie, TV show or song when your friends are talking
  • Apple TV supports the option to watch shared video on your big screen while following a FaceTime call on iPhone
  • Screen sharing lets everyone in a FaceTime call look at photos, browse the web, or help each other out


  • Capture ProRes video with iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max
  • Set to turn off automatic switching to the magnifying glass when taking photos or videos on iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max

Apple Wallet

  • COVID-19 Vaccination Card support allows you to add and submit verifiable vaccination information to Apple Wallet in supported regions


  • Support for Mandarin Chinese (Taiwan) in translation application and for translation throughout the system


  • New automatic control prefixes based on the current reading of a HomeKit-enabled humidity, air quality or light level sensor


  • Ready-made actions that allow you to superimpose text on images or gif files

This release also fixes the following issues:

  • The Photos app may incorrectly report that the storage space is full when importing photos and videos
  • The weather app may not display the current temperature for My Location, and incorrectly display the colors of animated wallpapers
  • Audio playing from an app may be paused when the screen is locked
  • Wallet may quit unexpectedly when using VoiceOver with multiple cards
  • Available Wi-Fi networks may not be detected
  • Battery algorithms on iPhone 12 models have been updated to better estimate battery capacity over time

Before updating, be sure to take a backup copy of the contents of your device, whether on the iCloud or the iTunes application

To update your device, take the following steps ...


Go to Settings -> General -> Software Update, it will show you that an update is available.


You can click on Learn more to view the update details.


To download the update, you must connect to Wi-Fi and preferably connect your device to the charger, then press the “Download and Install” button.

The passcode entry screen will appear.

You may see the Terms and Conditions screen, accept them.



After the update is finished, the device will restart. After several steps, the update will be completed.
