As shown, quiet notifications appear in the Notification Center, but do not appear on the lock screen, play a sound, present a banner, or place a badge on an app icon. Basically, these notifications will be hidden from your lock screen. However, this will not hide all notifications, only those for that specific app. For example, hiding email notifications will not cause the iPhone to hide text message notifications.


Hide notifications from settings

◉ Go to your settings.

◉ Click on Notifications.

◉ Find and tap the app whose notifications you want to hide.

◉ Under Alerts, click on the “Lock screen” option to deselect it.

You will have to do this for each app whose notifications you want to hide, but the process is simple and it won't take long at all. This way, your notifications will be hidden from your lock screen.
