How to remove the glass or plastic screen protector easily from the iPhone

Once you buy a new iPhone, we put a protector to protect the screen from breakage and reduce the chances of it being broken and after some time we have to look for another protector because what we use has become cracked and full of scratches, but can you remove the screen protector without difficulty from your iPhone? It is not complicated and does not require experience in rocket science as you can imagine, but you must be careful not to break your screen, so follow this article even if you do not use a screen protector for the sake of knowledge.

What do you need to remove a screen protector at home?

The good news is that removing your iPhone screen protector doesn't require special equipment and can be accomplished using common household items. Here's what you'll need before you get started:

  • Toothpick (silver)
  • A credit card or a piece of flexible plastic
  • Hair Dryer

How to remove the screen protector on the iPhone

If you have a hair dryer, point it at the screen for 10 to 15 seconds while setting it on a low heat setting until it loosens the adhesive on the screen protector and remember not to use high heat as it may damage the device and it doesn't take a lot of heat to release the adhesive.

Use a toothpick (slide) to lift any corner of the screen protector.

If you used a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive, you may be able to gently remove the screen protector at this point.

If not, slide and gently slide the credit card under the raised corner and slowly slide it around the sides of your iPhone making sure not to apply too much pressure so as not to damage the screen.

Slide the credit card under the protector horizontally and slowly down the device while trying to separate the screen protector from the device.

Thus, you have succeeded in removing the iPhone screen protector without the need to go to a store and after completion, you may find some residues resulting from the adhesive in the protector and can be removed easily through Clorox wet wipes or isopropyl alcohol.

Some of the responses are somewhat disdainful of the subject: “Say something good or keep quiet.”

With all due respect to the author of the article, I think that the article is just to fill the application with a simple protective content against breakage. Once you put your nails, even if they are short, it will do the job in just seconds. It doesn't need a tooth clip, dryer and a credit card 😅

Thank you for this tip
And as my predecessor (Khalief) and Mahmud Ehab before me said, the problem is not with removal, it is more important to know how to install.

In my personal opinion, the exchange of people's cultures can be more important than this simple topic. In this regard, I have benefited from this article by learning the name of some Arabs for toothpicks (khallah, which is an eloquent word from the root word khalil), but it does not apply precisely, and (salaka), which is closer to (khallah), and we call it (toothpick), and our Arab brothers may have other names for it that are closer to these names. So what do you call it?

The wonderful writer Walid, it seems to me that you are reading some of our thoughts 😄

About two months ago, I removed the screen protector from my screen in a rather harsh manner, which led to severe damage to the screen, and I had to buy another used screen because the new price is up to 26 thousand dirhams at the agency, yes the amount is correct, the screen is for my car and not for the iPhone..

The screen protector remained on the car screen for about 7 years, until bubbles started appearing on it, which forced me to remove it.

The iPhone is also expensive, but the attention paid to screen quality is not enough.

It is easy and does not require an article and explanation
The most important thing is why Apple does not make a solid screen that is resistant to scratches and breakage, despite the high price of the iPhone being sold.

There are strong screens that are difficult to break or scratch, and they maintain their purity for about XNUMX months before starting to stain and show signs of dirt, as the protection layer is removed and the price is more expensive, but it is worth what you pay, such as: Panzer and TechXNUMX

It is not as complicated as the author of the article imagined.
Removing the screen protector from any device is generally the easiest thing to do.
Only with your nails you can do it without dryers or perfumes..

The problem is putting it in, not removing it
