system came iOS 15.4 With important improvements and many great features of the iPhone, the most prominent of these features was unlocking by Face ID while wearing the mask, along with the new emoji. Operating iOS 5.

Scan text directly in notes

There are many note-taking applications, but the Apple application is still the best in the eyes of many of us because of its simplicity and ease of use, but this is not all because the Apple Notes application includes other great features that were added in iOS 15.4, such as the Live Text feature that allows you to open the camera Quickly and instantly scan any text you see in the current note. Here's how:

  • Open the Notes app and create a new note or select an existing note.
  • From the toolbar above the keyboard, tap the Camera button.
  • Place the document facing the camera and click Scan Text.
  • The currently selected text which will also be previewed will be highlighted in your note.
  • If you want to select a different section of text, tap it in the camera view.
  • When the text you want to add to your note is selected, tap the Insert button at the bottom to add it to the current note.
  • You can also tap the "X" in the top-right corner of the camera view if you change your mind and don't want to list anything.

Whether it's a handwritten note, a receipt, a product packaging, or even a whiteboard, you'll have a great way to record information in the Notes app with an editable image.

Add notes to iCloud Keychain passwords

Although there are some great third-party password managers out there, iCloud Keychain Password Manager does a pretty good job if all you need is a place to store and manage your passwords especially with some new features added in iOS 15.

For example, you can now use Apple's password manager to store your two-factor authentication credentials and it will even warn you about weak or compromised passwords. You can also use it even if you're not a Mac user. It's available for Windows PCs.

Apple's password manager isn't a standalone app, instead, you'll find it in Settings on the iPhone, in the section titled Set Passwords and with iOS 15.4 you'll find two additional features that complement Apple's built-in password manager where you can finally add notes to any of your passwords This allows you to get rid of annoying alerts for passwords you can't change or places where you don't care about complex passwords.

Start SharePlay directly from your favorite apps

With iOS 15.4, you don't need a FaceTime call in order to enjoy SharePlay with your friends. Now, you can turn the feature on directly from any supported app and to do that, find any content you want to share like a movie or show in the Apple TV app or a playlist in Apple Music and tap the share button.

If the app and content are compatible with SharePlay, you will see the green “SharePlay” button appear prominently above the usual sharing options and when you tap it you will be taken to the step of selecting the contacts you want to share with and then tap Start FaceTime Call. Once everyone joins, your chosen content will automatically play for everyone.

Podcast episode filters

With iOS 15.4, Apple has dramatically improved the podcast experience with new filters to help you quickly jump to only the episodes you want to watch.

Once you've selected a podcast, you can now use filters to view episodes you haven't played, episodes you've saved, or those you've downloaded to your iPhone. To use filters, go to the Podcasts app, then Library, then tap Shows, tap Seasons or Episodes, and choose a filter.

Manage custom iCloud email domains

Apple introduced a new feature for iCloud + subscribers, which is the ability to use a dedicated email domain with iCloud Mail. Through this feature, you will be able to use five custom domains to send and receive email with iCloud Mail. To start using the custom email domain, you will need to go to Settings and then click Click on your name at the top of the screen, then iCloud, and then tap iCloud Mail.
