In the latest reports about the iPhone 14, it was mentioned that it will have a more expensive "advanced" front camera with autofocus, which was partially manufactured in South Korea for the first time, according to reports from ET News.

The selfie or front camera may be one of the big updates that will come with the iPhone 14 family this year, and it was reported that Apple will cooperate with LG Innotek to provide it with cameras, along with the Japanese company Sharp, and abandoned a Chinese company, and the report claims that Apple also has Some quality issues with Chinese suppliers.

The high-end camera components are said to cost Apple three times as much as the previous version. The report also mentioned that the front camera of the iPhone 14 will support auto focus, which will be the first of its kind in a flagship phone. Apple is expected to announce as many as four models this year, and they all have autofocus and a wider f/1.9 aperture for brighter shots.

This is something that famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said recently and stated that this update will provide more depth to “portrait” shots. And adding auto focus will help improve focus during video calls. The camera will provide a better depth-of-field effect for portrait mode photos and videos, while the autofocus can improve focus during FaceTime and Zoom video calls. In comparison, the front camera on all iPhone 13 models features a fixed focus and a smaller f/2.2 aperture.

And if the reports are to be believed, LG Innotek has already started preparing for the mass production of the front camera for the iPhone 14, and as a result it is expected that Apple is likely to raise the prices of the iPhone 14 series.

The cost of the next iPhone 14 series is likely to be much higher than expected. The company released the iPhone 13 last year at the same prices as the previous version, but Apple is expected to raise the costs of the iPhone 14 series due to significant design changes and improved cameras.

Do you think that the front and back camera will be a major selling point for the iPhone 14? Tell us in the comments.
