Apple tests iPhones with USB-C ports

Apple is already testing iPhones with ports USB-C Instead of Lightning ports, according to famous analyst Mark Gorman. Apple does not plan to switch from Lightning to USB-C until 2023 at the earliest, as this year's iPhones will continue to offer a Lightning port.

We first heard about a potential switch to USB-C from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who said earlier this week that Apple plans to ditch the Lightning port in favor of USB-C on iPhone 15 models of 2023.

There have been countless rumors over the years about Apple using USB-C ports, especially after Apple started using USB-C for iPads, but until now, Apple stuck with Lightning for iPhone.

Apple may be planning a swap due to legal requirements being advocated in Europe. And the European Union is working on legislation that makes Apple adopt USB-C technology in its products, especially the iPhone, iPad and AirPods.

All devices sold in Europe will need a universal USB-C port if the new legislation is adopted, so Apple will need to ship special USB-C iPhone models in Europe or simply switch to Lightning worldwide.

USB-C ports will allow for faster charging speeds and faster data transfers, in addition to making the iPhone compatible with Mac and iPad models that already use USB-C.

And if Apple moves to USB-C, Gorman says the company will produce an adapter that will allow iPhones with a USB-C port to connect to accessories that have Lightning ports.

Do you think we will see an iPhone with a USB-C port soon? What do you think about the adoption of this port? Tell us in the comments.

Apple is making a profit from the presence of a Lightning input
And I don't think you'll get away with it easily
It will only be forcing them, as the European Union did
For us, the C input will be easier to use and communicate with external memories and cables

Forced from iPhone 12 Type C is supported. But we thank the European Union for the compulsion rule.

Nevertheless, I am a supporter of the survival of the Lightning

I think that the USB-C port is the most suitable for the iPhone, although we prefer the Latin port, as it has been unique to the iPhone since its release, as I enriched the iPhone 4 and 4s

Apple's plan for a while is to move to a Type C port for its devices, and it started with iPads and laptops, and I think I read that by XNUMX all of its devices will have switched to a Type C port.
And we want this to reduce the wires instead of increasing them, for example I had to put a Type C cable for the iPad and next to it a Lightning wire for the iPhone, so the Type C is in our favor as consumers.
