Pictures of iPhone covers have been shared on Twitter, with the owner claiming that they are the official cases coming from Apple for the iPhone 14 lineup, which is expected to be announced tomorrow, Wednesday.
The images, shared by the Twitter account Majin Bu, include both leather and silicone options for all expected iPhone 14 models. While the images claim to show official Apple covers, they are most likely fake ones and closely resemble the colors. Apple often updates its lineup of cases alongside the release of the new iPhone, so expect some new colors to come out this week.
According to the post, the iPhone 14 series leather covers will be available in bright orange, brown, golden brown, dark blue, black, and fir green. And if the colors are accurate, many of the leather colors currently available from Apple will be discontinued, including Wisteria's light purple, Sequoia Green and Dark Cherry. While the colors shown in the images may be legitimate, the names may not, so take them with caution.
For the silicone caps, another common image shows eight colors, including midnight, succulent, chalk pink, red, purple, solar flare, stellar blue, and elderberry. The names are claimed to be Apple's official color names, but the source of the information has been wrong in the past.
Apple Watch 8 case leaked
With the Apple Watch Pro expected to be larger than the Apple Watch 7 and the rest of the upcoming Apple Watch 8 models, leaker Sonny Dickson has shared new images that offer a comparison of the watch's size with others.
According to Dixon's sources, the Pro model will have a 49mm body, larger than an earlier rumor that suggested between 47mm and 48mm. For comparison, the Apple Watch 7 is available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, which is also expected to be reflected in the standard Apple Watch 8 models with identical designs.
Combined with the flat screen, the larger 49mm case size of the Apple Watch Pro can result in a screen size of over 1.99 inches, and may be 2 inches or more, making it the largest screen for an Apple Watch.
With the larger size of the new Apple Watch, it will provide more on-screen objects for athletes and fitness enthusiasts to display more relevant statistics.
On Monday, 91Mobile shared CAD images of the new Apple Watch Pro design with the same 49mm case size. The images confirmed the inclusion of a new physical button on the left side of the redesigned watch, a completely flat screen, and a protrusion containing the Digital Crown and side button.
Apple is expected to announce four new iPhone 14 models this Wednesday: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
