Customers got a headset 2 AirPods Pro On Friday, September 23 last. And if you're still using the first generation AirPods Pro or older AirPods models, know that there are many new features and changes you might look forward to using. Six important new features, changes, and improvements have been identified that AirPods Pro 2 offer over older models.


Better Active Noise Cancellation than before

This feature was introduced in the first generation AirPods Pro, but the new AirPods Pro 2 feature up to twice as much active noise cancellation. This means much less ambient noise when active noise canceling is used, thanks to the improved noise canceling microphones, as well as improved algorithms.


Improved sound quality with richer bass

‌AirPods Pro‌ 2 features a custom-designed driver and amplifier that works with the H2 chip to deliver low distortion, deeper bass, and crisp, clear highs for audio and video. The H2 chip also powers a new algorithm that processes audio in real time more quickly, and tunes it to your ears for high-fidelity sound.


Adaptive Transparency Mode

Besides active noise cancellation, AirPods Pro feature Transparency Mode, which uses outward-facing microphones to allow you to hear the world around you. AirPods Pro 2 takes this even further with Adaptive Transparency Mode, which can reduce loud noises, like sirens and more, while allowing you to hear other sounds.


Better in-ear detection

The first generation of AirPods Pro features infrared optical sensors to detect when a user puts it in their ear. The new AirPods Pro also feature skin-detection sensors for better in-ear detection, longer battery life and more reliable performance that prevents AirPods from accidentally activating in a bag or pocket.


Longer battery life

AirPods Pro 2 get up to six hours of listening time with active noise cancellation enabled, which is 30 hours longer than AirPods Pro. With the new MagSafe charging case, the headset can get up to XNUMX hours of listening with active noise cancellation, six hours more than before.


Case with Speaker, Find My, and Wrist Lanyard

The new AirPods Pro come with a redesigned MagSafe charging case that has a built-in speaker for improved Find My, accurate tracking support, and a slot on the side for a lanyard for easy portability. In addition to the Lightning port and MagSafe, the new charging case can be charged using the Apple Watch charger as well.

◉ Up to 4.5 hours of talk time on a single charge, compared to up to 4 hours of talk time on a single charge in the previous generation.

◉ Up to 24 hours of talk time using the MagSafe charging case, compared to 20 hours in the previous generation.

◉ MagSafe ‌Charging Case‌ with built-in speaker for Find My‌, U1 chip for precise tracking, and a lanyard for carrying.

◉MagSafe Charging Case‌ is compatible with Apple Watch charger, MagSafe charger, Qi and Lightning wireless charging pads.
