How to use AirTags while traveling

Don't put it in a visible place
Do not place AirTags in a visible place, whether by hanging them in a medal, or hanging them in any visible place of your clothes or luggage. And when you reach the final leg of your journey, you may not have to wait long to find your bag at the baggage claim centre. Simply open the Find My app, tap your bag in the Items tab, and tap Find to find out exactly where it is. You can also set up a notification to be alerted when your bags arrive at a specific location such as a baggage claim location. You can view their current location and route on the map.

Add a widget to the home screen
If you are on a long trip, you may find yourself opening the Find My app a lot to keep track of your bags, “Just like me, but with the refrigerator, I open it a lot for and without reason, I don’t know, is it just me?” Will the bags leave you and get off the plane to monitor them throughout the flight? The point is, if you are one of those people, you can make things simpler by using widgets on the home screen.
To do this, first tap and hold to edit the home screen, then tap the + sign at the top and scroll down to add the Find My widget, then add it to the screen.
If you have multiple AirTags, keep track of the correct one. Click on the widget while in edit mode and select the element you want to track.
