Similar to the iPhone, the Apple Watch receives annual upgrades, and is one of the devices announced alongside the iPhone each year. Although rumors of the iPhone often steal the spotlight and overwhelm other devices, there were some rumors about the upcoming Apple Watch models. In this article, we mention everything we know about the Apple Watch 9 coming this fall.
Incremental upgrades to the Apple Watch
In 2022, Apple directed its development efforts towards the watch Apple UltraAs a result, the standard Apple Watch 8 didn't receive many new features. Similarly, this year, Apple will focus on the larger Apple Watch model, and because of that there may only be minor upgrades with limited new features for the Apple Watch 9.
Processor improvements
The S8 chip in the Apple Watch 8 has identical specifications to the S7 chip in the previous model, the Apple Watch 7, which delivered equivalent performance to the S6 processor in the Apple Watch 6. Since the processor in the Apple Watch has not seen any major developments in recent years, it is possible to introduce Upgraded S9 chip with minor performance improvements.
Bluetooth
The Apple Watch Ultra comes with Bluetooth 5.3 technology, and it is possible that the Apple Watch 9 comes with the same technology as well. Apple is gradually integrating the latest Bluetooth standard into its products.
Battery life
Any upgrade of the processor may lead to slight improvements in battery life, and this improvement in battery life can be due to the additional functions that Apple adds to the screen, such as the always-on display feature, so instead of lighting the entire screen every time, the pixels designated to display only time.
New Apple Watch Ultra
The Apple Watch Ultra is a new product in the Apple Watch lineup from 2022, so we don't know yet if it will be upgraded year on year. But we haven't heard any rumors about any Ultra watch this year, Apple may wait until next year to upgrade it and introduce new features.
New Apple Watch SE
Over the past years, Apple has not updated the Apple Watch SE on an annual basis, and at the present time, there is no information available about whether it will be updated this world or not, since it was already updated last year, and it seems unlikely that it will be. There is an update next year.
The features are futuristic
Right now, there isn't much information available on what to expect with the Apple Watch 9, but Apple plans to incorporate some innovative technologies into future models.
One such technology is the microLED screen, which Apple is rumored to be supplying the Apple Watch as early as 2024. Apple will design these custom screens in-house, just like the processor designs that will be done by Apple. This technology will be displayed in the Apple Watch Ultra or Pro in advanced versions, not standard ones, and MicroLED screen technology will provide improved viewing angles and brighter and more vibrant colors.
In addition to the microLED display technology, Apple is also developing a new version of the Apple Watch Ultra, with a larger 2.1-inch screen, whose release will coincide with the introduction of the microLED display.
Apple has also been working on a blood sugar monitoring feature for the Apple Watch for years, and the concept has now reached a functional and viable stage. Although this technology is still a few years away from now, its introduction will be one of the most significant upgrades for the Apple Watch.
The launch date of the new watch
Apple upgrades the Apple Watch on an annual basis, and new models are announced along with new iPhone models, so it is expected that Apple will announce them in September, and then launch them to users after a week or two.

I hope that the Apple Watch provides services ((measurement of pressure, sugar and heartbeat
Thanks for your comment, @Faisal Abdullah Al-Fahd Al-Shammari. So far, no new features have been announced in the Apple Watch 9 regarding measuring pressure, sugar, and heart rate. Interestingly, Apple is working on a blood sugar monitoring feature for the Apple Watch in the future. Do you expect an update for the Apple Watch 9 this year? 🤔
By God, I had a fitbit charge band.. It's billions of times better than the Apple Watch.. At least when you go to sleep and take a nap, you calculate your sleep hours smartly. I bought the Ultra and now it's up for sale. very backward
I hope that you do not allow the appearance of animation ads that allude to pornography from time to time
@Ahmed Al-Hamdani Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that you are having trouble with ads. We work hard to maintain the quality of the content and ads that appear on our site. Do you have any questions or concerns about the Apple Watch or any other Apple products? 🤔
I left using the Apple Watch for two reasons. The first is that I have a stainless steel version, and therefore a heavy weight when exercising, and this is my fault of course.
The second is the battery. It is impossible for me to buy the watch back, no matter how much I get upgrades, without the battery life reaching at least a week. In the end, the watch is a wear product and, in my opinion, it should not be removed two or three times a day.
thank you
