Some Windows 11 users can now pair their iPhone devices with Windows via an application Microsoft PhoneLink. This feature, which was previously available to Android users, allows users to get basic iOS support for calls, messages, and contacts on their Windows PC. This is also similar to an app Intel Unison, which also allows iPhone devices to sync with Windows.

If you have access to the Phone Link app for iOS now, we'll give you instructions on how to set it up and link it. By following the instructions below, you will be able to connect the iPhone to Windows.


How to sync iPhone on Windows 11

◉ Currently, an app is accessible phone link for iOS exclusively to individuals who sign up for one of the three channels of the Windows Insider Program. These channels consist of the Developers channel, the Beta channel, and the Release Preview channel. To join the Windows Insider Program, go to Settings, Then select Windows Update Windows Update, followed by Windows Insider Program, where you can choose a channel.

◉ Even if you are a member of the Insider Program, the Phone Link app for iOS will probably not be available to you, because Microsoft is gradually introducing it to users.

◉ Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on the computer and iPhone and make sure to install the latest updates for each. Once everything is ready, you can start now:

Turn on Phone Link on Windows and then choose the iPhone

To get started, type Phone Link in the Windows taskbar search. Next, click on Phone Link, then select the iPhone from the next window.


Scan QR Code

On your computer, a window with a QR code will appear. The Phone Link app on the iPhone will ask you to scan this code. Scan the QR code with your iPhone to pair your devices. Then click Continue on your iPhone in the next window.


Pair the devices via Bluetooth

On your computer, you will see another window with an icon. You should see this same icon on your iPhone, then tap Pair. After that, click on Allow from the next window.


Grant permissions on the iPhone

The last step is to grant permissions. On your iPhone, go to Settings and tap Bluetooth. Next, select your computer and click on the information (i) icon. Then switch to Show notifications, sync contacts, and share system notifications.

This completes the setup process! Going forward, Phone Link will provide you with basic iOS functionality, including support for calls, messages, and contacts. It is important to note that this feature does not allow you to reply to group messages or send media via messages.
