Apple is constantly improving the user experience in its applications, and the Notes and Reminders applications have a large share in these improvements, especially with iOS 17. Although most of the features are not huge, they are of course useful, and will help you accomplish your daily tasks and organize your time. Follow us and we will share with you all the new features in the Notes and Reminders applications, God willing.
Notes app features
Link notes together
You can now link notes together or create a link between them. You will find this useful in... Connect two notes that have the same purpose Or work.
Updated layout and pages
Apple has added a new formatting option for you to add quotes separately, in addition to some new monotype formats that you can choose between. And that's not the end of it. You can now open any note you want in the Pages application, and add the formats you want.
Use PDFs and scanned files in Notes
The Notes app now supports PDF files, which means you can insert any PDF file you want and add edits or comments to it. It is worth noting that this function works with all scanned documents and is available on all iPhones and iPads.
New features in the Reminders app
Grocery sorting (shopping list) or Grocery Sorting
When you go to the market to buy what you want, you can create a grocery list. This feature will enable you to enter a group of foods and automatically find them organized based on category. This will save you time while purchasing, and make it easier for you to find what you want.
Before you go shopping Open the Notes app, open a new list, tap Grocery Sorting.
Column view
A new option has been added in the Reminders application, which is the column view. You can now display a specific section in multiple rows side by side, and you can switch between list view and column view at any time.
Early Reminder
If you set a reminder for a specific date, you can add the option to remind early. In addition, you can receive this reminder a day, two days, two weeks, or even a month in advance.
New widget for Reminders
Through the new interactive widget that has been added. They'll appear on your lock screen or home screen, without you needing to go into the Reminders app and check items.

The features I would most like Apple to add to the Notes app are:
Supports markdown
Add backlinks feature
Add more formatting options
Add web clipper
Support templates feature
I do not advise anyone to use Apple Notes from my personal experience due to the lack of an option to export notes and also the poor recovery quality of competing applications (according to my experience). In other words, all the notes you write will not be able to be transferred to another application easily.
Is it possible for the lock screen clock on the iPhone to be analog instead of digital? If so, how do I do that?
Hello Fares Al-Janabi 🙋♂️, Unfortunately, there is currently no direct option on the iPhone to change the lock screen clock to an analog system. But you can use third-party apps available in the App Store to add this feature. Good luck 🍀!
New and beautiful features that I did not expect, especially the Reminders application, which I use a lot. I think that the Notes application still needs a lot of work. Thank you for informing us of these updates, and may God reward you with the best reward.
Hello Mufleh 🙋♂️, Yes, applications are always evolving and progressing and we hope that the Notes application will become more useful in the upcoming versions 📝. Thank you very much for your kind words and continuous encouragement 😊.
Peace be upon you. Can you do an article on (device usage time) and can we close programs for children?
How do I link notes to pages
How do I insert PDF files into the Notes app?
See you
Hello Momen 🙋♂️, to link notes to Pages, open the note, press the share button, then choose ‘Pages’. To insert PDF files into the Notes application, press the ‘+’ button in the note, then choose ‘Scan Documents’ and select the PDF file from its place. Now you can modify this file as you wish. I hope this was useful to you! 📝📲
Peace, mercy and blessings of God
This article looks very nice, and when I was reading this article, I had a question: Is iPhone planning to use remote control devices at home?
It seems like a unique feature, but I am facing a problem with printing. If I print from (notes), things appear scattered, so how do I fix the problem?😓
Hi Aseel 😊, the issue you are facing may be related to the text formatting in the Notes app. Try using the “Text Format” option to adjust the font, size, and line spacing. If the problem persists, it may be a good idea to reinstall the app or update to the latest version of iOS. I wish you good luck! 🍀📱
