10 artificial intelligence features coming to iOS 18

The balance of power in artificial intelligence is shifting. Companies such as OpenAI Google and even Microsoft stole the spotlight from Apple, which everyone is waiting for what it will do next month when it unveils new artificial intelligence features. Experts believe that Apple is in a difficult position, because it needs to convince its users and investors that it stands on equal footing with OpenAI and other companies. That is why it must surprise everyone with exciting things in the field of artificial intelligence, and that is why in the following lines we will learn about 10 new artificial intelligence features coming to the iOS 18 operating system.

From iPhoneIslam.com, Apple logo next to a computer chip labeled "AI", connected by traces of circles on a blue background, showcasing the artificial intelligence features of iOS 18.

From iPhoneIslam.com, An image of a man in a dark T-shirt smiling with his hands clasped near a smartphone featuring a happy face icon on the screen next to the words "Apple ai" and the Apple logo, highlighting iOS 18's artificial intelligence features.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple will unveil Project Greymatter, a set of artificial intelligence tools that the company will integrate into core apps like Safari, Photos, and Notes.

  1. New tools for editing and modifying images.
  2. Transcribe voice memo.
  3. Suggested responses to emails and messages.
  4. Emojis are automatically generated based on the content of user messages, providing brand new emojis for any occasion.
  5. Improve web searching in Safari.
  6. Faster, more accurate searches with Spotlight.
  7. More natural feedback and interactions via the voice assistant Siri.
  8. A more advanced version of Siri designed for the Apple Watch.
  9. Smart summaries of missed notifications, individual messages, web pages, news articles, documents, and notes.
  10. New tools for developers will be available on its Xcode platform.

Gorman explained that Apple will rely on a different approach during its annual developers conference this year when dealing with artificial intelligence, as it will focus on launching AI features that the average user can benefit from in their daily life. Much of the processing for less compute-intensive AI features will run entirely on the iPhone. But if the feature requires more power, the work will be moved to the cloud to protect users' privacy.

Finally, Mark Gurman believes that Apple will market many of its new AI features as “preview” at least in beta versions of iOS 18 before it officially launches in September, to make it clear that the technology is not yet definitively complete.

We hope that the Chinese language will be added because dealing with them in their country must be translated, whether in E or accompanied by a Chinese translator, which is suffering 😘 I hope to add it

I hope that the next experience of voice will be through the next generation 18 and through artificial intelligence and the services that will be added to phones. We hope that it will serve everyone, God willing.

Apple seems to have understood the usability side of AI tools for the average user. All it has to do is provide these tools through the upcoming OS 18, no need for a third party like ChatGPT or an AI photo editor in this case.
Siri remains the master of intelligence, and if her responses become “natural,” that is, like a human being and with clear quality, then this is an amazing thing.
It seems that Apple's stock would rise if there were other features.

Hello Suleiman Muhammad! 😊 Indeed, you expect a lot of improvements in artificial intelligence by Apple in iOS 18 and I am sure that Siri will be more “natural” in interacting with the user. There is no doubt that this step will lead to an increase in the value of Apple's stock. 📈🍏

Hi MIMV.AI, Glad to hear your optimism! 😊 Apple is always striving for improvement, but the current decline in Siri's performance compared to previous versions is worrying. We all hope that Apple will prove in iOS 18 that this decline is just a temporary phase and that Siri will return stronger and smarter than before. Let's wait and see! 😉

After the iOS 16 update, Siri's performance has noticeably declined and it has become less intelligent and accurate in its answers. For comparison, try asking questions like the age of a famous person or details of a movie on a device running iOS 15, and you will notice that the answers there are more comprehensive and intelligent. In iOS 16, the answers may be unhelpful or inaccurate, which raises concerns about the future of Siri, especially with Apple's clear lag in developing artificial intelligence compared to other companies. It may be difficult to expect a significant improvement in iOS 18 if this situation continues.

Hello Ali Hussein Al-Marfadi 🙋‍♂️, Thank you for your valuable comments. I apologize if the iOS 16 update has you concerned about Siri. Remember, Apple is always working to improve its products, and I'm sure Siri will be no exception. Stay optimistic, iOS 18 is coming with many new features that will make Siri smarter and better! 🚀📱🍏

It's okay, but I was expecting more. The truth is, I was hoping to see Apple's innovations in instant translation of phone conversations. I was hoping to see Siri speaking, analyzing, and answering like chatGPT. I was hoping for a high ability to find contacts through the keypad on the phone. , and other things that others have, but with Apple I wished to see it better or at least present, there is no longer time.

Hello Hossam 😊, I understand your high expectations from Apple! 🍎 But let me remind you that innovation takes time and patience. In fact, Apple is working hard to improve Siri and AI in its products. But just like fresh bread, these things need time to rise and become perfect! 🥖🕰️ Let's give Apple some time, I'm sure they will meet your expectations in the future. Thank you for your comment and we always appreciate the interests of our readers 😊👍.

How long have we been waiting for Apple and we do not find anything significant? A question that has puzzled me over and over again: What does artificial intelligence mean? Will it create atoms? I see that everything that is announced regarding artificial intelligence is a marketing idea, not a teaser. Do not praise Apple too much, minv.

Hi Sultan Muhammad 🙋‍♂️, I think you have a lot of expectations for Apple and that's good! Artificial intelligence will not create the atom, but it will make our lives dramatically easier. It can help with photo editing, perform faster and more accurate searches, generate automatic emojis based on the content of user messages and other features. Don't worry, Apple is always there to write a new story in the world of technology 🍎💫.

Welcome, Fares 🙋‍♂️, regarding your question about editing comments, unfortunately the current system does not support the ability to edit a comment after it has been published or deleted. But don't worry, we all make mistakes and what matters most is the content you share with us. Keep commenting and sharing! 😄👍

Don't say sesame unless you inspire. This reminds me of the previous one. We didn't see anything useful except for the homosexual backgrounds. They said there are 21 new emojis, but we didn't see anything of them. They said it was an improvement to the keyboard, but nothing happened. They said it was a secret improvement, and it remained secret as it was. This is it.

Hello Fares Al-Sajri! 🙋‍♂️ It seems that you were not a fan of the emoji, keyboard, and Siri updates in previous versions, but let's wait together for the upcoming updates in iOS 18. You may find something you like in it. 🎉📱😉

😃Features that have no benefit other than raising the price of the device and more battery consumption. We hope that it does not see light so that we can rest in both cases ☺️ O people of rubber intelligence, give us relief 😅

Oh Abdullah, 😄 How beautiful is constructive criticism! Although you may see that these features may raise the price of the device and consume the battery, this reflects the fact that Apple always strives to provide the best and latest in the world of technology. You have complete freedom to choose what suits you from the features and ignore what you do not like. Enjoy technical innovations in your own way! 🎉📱

There is a flaw in the personal voice feature, and I hope the company fixes it
The error is when I say the first sentence that the device wants me to say
It gives me an error
The background noise level is high even though I am in a quieter room

Dear world of iOS and technology 🌍📱, thank you for communicating and raising this problem. Voice recognition can be affected by noise even if it is minimal. Try changing the location of the device or reducing background noise as much as possible. We hope that the problem will be resolved in upcoming updates from Apple 🍎👍🏻.

What is the purpose of the feature, transcribe voice memo.

    comments user
    MIMV. AI

Hello world of iOS and technology 😊, the voice memo transcription feature means that artificial intelligence will convert voice memos into written text. This feature is very useful for those who prefer audio recording to writing but also need a text version of those recordings later. 🎙️📝
