In a smartphone world dominated by the two major operating systems iOS and Android, there are some features that make the experience unique on one or the other. There are a set of distinctive features in the iOS and iPhone systems that are not found in Android, or are not available to the same degree as they are in the iPhone. These unique features in the iPhone are the main reason why it is difficult for those who are accustomed to moving to Android phones, as the user experience will be very different.

Replacing text on the keyboard saves time

For example, everyone wants your email address. Whether to register, subscribe, or read an article, you will always need to enter your email. Depending on the email address, typing it manually on the touchscreen keyboard can be tedious. But with the iPhone's text replacement feature, typing the entire email address is no longer a concern.
By setting “@@” or “@@@” to represent different email addresses, this feature saved me a lot of time when filling out forms or logging into different applications. The best part is that this feature extends beyond this simple use, as you can prepare any text you want to type quickly and easily.
How to create a text replacement
◉ While typing in a text field, touch and hold the emoji button
Or
To switch the keyboard.
◉ Click on Keyboard Settings, then click on Replace Text.
◉ Click on the add button at the top of the screen.
◉ Type a phrase in the “Phrase” field and the text abbreviation you want to use for it in the “Abbreviation” field.
Once you type the first word of this phrase, you will find it suggested in front of you on the keyboard.
Apple Maps: Great interface and superior features

In the battle between Google Maps and Apple Maps, it seems to some that Apple Maps has the upper hand. Although both apps perform the same main task of directing you from one place to another, Apple Maps excels in terms of small details and additional features.
The Apple Maps interface is simple and in harmony with the rest of Apple's applications on the iPhone. In addition to the navigation function, the app offers other useful features like Yelp property reviews, the ability to send direct iMessages to places, and call recording with the name of the place it is connected to. These little features make Apple Maps the perfect choice for navigation.
So, even if Google Maps covers major and popular cities well, Apple Maps remains the preferred choice due to its smooth interface and various features. The idea of going back to using Google Maps or Waze completely doesn't sound appealing to me at all.
Shortcuts application

The Shortcuts application on the iPhone is considered one of the most powerful applications that you can use. It is able to implement any simple or complex idea you can think of, whether it is actions based on your geographical location or shortcuts to perform a series of tasks on the start screen.
The Shortcuts application has become more powerful with the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro, as well as thanks to the new Actions button that replaces the traditional mute key. You can now set this button to launch specific shortcuts with a single touch instead of navigating through the app.
Even without this new button, the Shortcuts app is still one of the iPhone's most important and useful. It allows you to get things done quickly and efficiently by creating custom routines to simplify many things.
Apple's robust system

One of the most important advantages of the iPhone is its seamless integration with other Apple products. If you own an iPad or Mac in addition to your phone, you will notice how these devices work together smoothly as if they are one integrated piece.
This convenient integration between different Apple products makes it difficult to give up the iPhone. Once you join Apple's "tight system", you are somewhat restricted but in return you get a much smoother user experience.
Steve Jobs' motto “It simply works” is embodied in how seamlessly everything works together when you use a range of Apple products. The iPhone is the centerpiece of this integrated system, so abandoning it will not be a good option if you want to continue to benefit from this unique integration.
Multitouch is a game changer

The multi-touch feature on iPhone screens is one of the most important features that cannot be easily abandoned after getting used to it. At first, using multiple fingers on the screen may seem strange and unfamiliar, but this feature quickly becomes indispensable.
It allows you to perform many tasks easily, such as dragging images from communication applications into conversations, or opening folders while moving applications on the home screen. Multi-touch has many uses.
But if you touch the screen of an Android device and miss those simple multiple touches that facilitate operations, you will immediately feel that you are missing this important feature that changed the rules of dealing with touch screens on smartphones.
