Although Siri is not as advanced as its personal assistant competitors, it is not on the same level as AI bots like GBT Chat and other AI systems. Many of Siri's features are obvious to everyone: you can send text messages, call people, play music, and do other kinds of things. There are other things that are hidden from us, and we know nothing about them. In this article, we guide you to some of the tasks that you can ask Siri that may benefit you a lot. You may know some of them, and you may not know others.
Siri can do things like restart your iPhone, translate phrases and words, find where you parked your car, show photos from the Internet, access passwords saved on iCloud, and other tasks that might improve your daily experience.
Siri can restart your iPhone
Suppose your iPhone needs to restart for any reason. You may be busy and do not have the ability to press the buttons for some time and then pull out to restart, and this may take a long time. You can just ask Siri to restart your device by saying, “Hey Siri, restart my phone.” Siri will ask you to confirm that you want to restart. Once you confirm by saying yes, you will complete the task immediately.
Use Siri to translate words or phrases
Siri can also translate almost any phrase or word from one language to another. All you have to do is say, “Hey Siri, translate [then say what you want Siri to translate] into [the language you want to translate it to],” and Siri will tell you the translation in the other language. For example, you could say 'Translate 'Where is the nearest library?' to English,” and Siri will display the translation on the screen and speak it out loud.
Siri can find your parking position
Let's say you're in an unfamiliar city and you're looking for a parking space. Finally I found a suitable place. Then you walk to your destination and you don't make any note of where you parked your car, or you don't even remember it well, or you want to find your car quickly. Just use the Siri command “Where do I find my parked car” or “How do I get to my car, or where is my car heading” and something like that, and Siri will help you. This is done by using your phone's connection to the car.
Tell Siri to remind you of “this”
Siri is smarter than you might think. Understanding context means understanding what you do and what you mean by what is currently displayed on your phone or tablet screen. So, you can say, “Hey Siri, remind me of this,” and it will create a reminder about whatever is currently showing up on your device, whether it's a text message, a website, or any other supported app.
The feature doesn't work with everything, but many popular applications are supported, but it worked perfectly with a web page. Try and find out what apps can remind you by simply saying “remind me of this” when the app is open and see what happens.
Use Siri to trick a king or type to make a decision
If you are confused about choosing between two things and want help from Siri in choosing between them, you can use a command like “Hey Siri, flip a coin” or tell her “Play king or tail.” Try it.
Ask Siri to show you photos from the Internet
Siri can quickly and easily display images of anything you can imagine. It can do this if you want to see pictures of a specific type of plant, car, animal or anything. All you have to do is say, “Hey Siri, show me pictures of [thing name],” and Siri will download a grid of pictures from the Internet. Just tap on any one to see it in full size. I tried it with a few different search terms, and the images displayed were 100% accurate to what I was looking for, so that's definitely helpful.
Tell Siri to look up a password and show it to you
If you use iCloud to store your passwords, you can ask Siri to find a password and show it in seconds. You'll just need to unlock your phone for this feature to work, otherwise, it would be a security disaster. Simply say, “Hey Siri, show me my [website name] password” and let Siri do the rest of the work. For example, you can say, “Hey Siri, show me my Apple.com password,” and Siri will fetch the passwords from Settings, scan your face, or ask for the iPhone unlock password to make sure it’s actually you, and then it will show you The Apple.com page in your iCloud password string.
How to call Siri?
If you are a new iPhone user, all these commands may seem surprising to you, but you may not know how to use them. But do not worry; Accessing Siri on the iPhone is easy. You can just press and hold the side button (power button) or the home button for older iPhones, and Siri will start listening to your command. You can also say “Hey Siri” to wake her up and talk to her directly.
If neither of these work, you may need to set up Siri in Settings on your iPhone. Here's how to enable “Hey Siri” or “Hey Siri”:
◉ Open Settings.
◉ Click on Siri and Search.
◉ Make sure here that these following settings are turned on:
◎ Listen to “Siri” or “Hey Siri”
◎ Allow Siri while locked.
Here's how to enable Siri through the side button:
◉ Open Settings.
◉ Click on Siri and Search.
◉ Activate Press the side button for Siri as in the picture above.
