Give your home screen a whole new look.
No one would have imagined that the freedom to place icons would be a feature on the iPhone, but that’s what happened. For years, iOS imposed a strict order, adding apps from top to bottom, from left to right. You could change the order of icons or move them between screens.
Now, with iOS 18, everything has changed. You can place apps almost anywhere you want. Photos of your loved ones or pets won’t be obscured by app icons. Applications order: Touch and hold the screen until the apps jiggle, then drag the icons to wherever you want.
Convert icons to smart widgets: Some apps, like Maps, can be expanded to show more useful information. Try long-pressing the app icon and discover new expansion options.

Then tap the Edit button in the top corner and choose Customize from the menu. At the bottom of the screen, choose a mode for the icons and wallpaper: Auto, Dark, or Light.
Colored icons: You can now colorize all your app icons so they share the same color. In the customization options at the bottom of the screen, choose “Colorful” as the icon style. You can then adjust the hue (slider with the color spectrum) and brightness (slider from dark to light) to choose the shade you prefer.
Large icons: if I were You don't want labels under every app icon., you can remove them and increase the size of the icons with one setting. Open the customization options as shown above and click on the big button. For more details follow this article –Link.

Control Center used to be a place to quickly access controls like data, airplane mode, do not disturb, and more, but in iOS 18, Control Center is a large, customizable arena. ◉ To enter editing mode, touch and hold or tap the + button in the upper left corner.
◉ As with moving and arranging apps, drag a control to wherever you want.
◉ Many controls have a handle in the lower right corner that you can use to resize the item, which in most cases reveals the item's name and state, such as turning off a light.
◉ Control Center now spans multiple screens. Swipe up to view controls for currently playing media, Home controls for lights and smart devices, and a dedicated page for connectivity options that appears when you long-press on a connectivity group that includes Airplane Mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular, and more. I have an iPad Pro 12.9 2017. Is it covered by the iOS18 update?
Welcome almansury 🙋♂️, you can indeed update your iPad Pro 12.9 2017 to iOS 18 and enjoy all the great features it has to offer. Good news, isn't it? 🎉📱
Peace, mercy and blessings of God
Very good update but the only thing I didn't like about it is the photos app before the update was
There is more privacy when you open the application
Photos find albums for everything but after the update
The photo album is open, why? And if I like it, it will be
Same as the first, what is the solution?
Hello, I had a beta version and when the new update was released, some features were not working, such as me being able to scroll through the settings center and other things were not working. What is the problem? Should I remove the current version and download a new one, or what should I do? Please advise me.
Peace, mercy and blessings of God
Has anyone tried XR?
What are your impressions? Thank you.
Hello Mansour Al-Fayez 🙋♂️, Of course, there are many users who have tried the update on the iPhone XR and the impressions were mostly positive. iOS 18 brings a set of new features and improvements that enhance the user experience. Therefore, if you are thinking of updating, I highly recommend it. But don't forget to take a backup first! 😉📱💡
I updated to 17.7 and the available space was 87. After the update it became 25. Has anyone had the same problem? What is the problem?
Peace and mercy of God
First of all, I would like to thank you for the very useful information you provide us.
Secondly, I heard that there is an excellent feature in the new update, which is hiding ads from the sites we browse. Is this true? And if it is true, how do I activate this feature?
Hello Abdulaziz Al-Harthi 🙋♂️, May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you. Thank you for your kind words 😊.
Yes, you mean the “Privacy Browsing” feature that appeared in the new update of iOS 15. This feature hides all annoying ads from the sites you browse. To activate this feature, you can follow the following steps:
1. Go to “Settings” on your device.
2. Click on “Safari”.
3. Click on the “Browsing Privacy” box to activate it.
This way you will be able to browse the internet more privately and with less annoying ads 🚀🌐.
I hope this helps, and feel free to ask any other questions!
Until now, even after the update, my phone is struggling with the new look in dark mode or even any look that changes all the colors of the applications. Unfortunately, I deleted it from the home screen until it is compatible with the latest look for iOS 18.
For System Fonts
Did you change the entire operating system font?
Hi ʀᴀɢᴇʜ ѕᴘɪᴅᴇʀ 𖣔 🕷️, Regarding your question about changing the entire operating system font, I apologize but Apple does not provide this feature in iOS. The fonts used in iOS are San Francisco fonts and cannot be changed. You can only adjust the font size and enable the highlighted text feature through the settings. I hope this changes in future updates, like how Apple allowed customization of the shape of icons recently! 😉🍏
Yes I updated but I haven't done anything after that yet.
Welcome Rajab 🙋♂️, don’t worry, there are a lot of features to discover and experiment with after updating to iOS 18. Why not start experimenting with changing the default buttons on the lock screen, or using the action button in new ways? And don’t forget the new look of your home screen. I know it may seem like a lot at first, but that’s the magic of updates – there’s always something new to explore! 🕵️♂️📱😉
Thank you for the convincing responses and eloquent comparison to bring understanding closer, and thank you Phone Islam, it is an application that deserves praise 👏👏👏👏
The update does not accept me. What is the problem?
You must explain in detail how we can help you if you do not say anything.
Ok, I understand. My battery is now at 90%. If I update, it will definitely drop and may reach 88%. This will cost me a lot if I change my phone to an iPhone XNUMX Pro.
Hi Sakra 🍬, I understand your reservations about updating iOS and the changes that may occur to your battery percentage. But, let's put things in context! If your battery is now at 90%, dropping to 88% after the update is not exactly a disaster. It's just like a little bit of chocolate melting from the edge of your ice cream on a hot summer day 🍦☀️. This should not prompt you to upgrade your device to the iPhone 16 Pro by less than an atom. Enjoy the new and do not fear future changes, because with Apple, the apple always falls closest to the tree 😉🍏.
Peace, mercy and blessings of God
How do I add the Al-Salaati app to the control center?

1. Make sure you have the latest update from To My Prayers.
2. Open Control Center and tap the + sign above.
3. You will find a list of applications that can be added, search for “To My Prayers” and click on it to add it.
Immediately after that, you will find the “To My Prayers” app in the control center whenever you swipe down from the top of the screen. I hope this helps you! 😊
Beautiful and wonderful update and wonderful explanation
I updated but found that the numbers 123 had changed to Arabic, knowing that my phone is Arabic but I had set the numbers 1234
I went into the settings trying to change it but to no avail. The time and battery percentage are still in Arabic (Indian) numbers.
Is there a way to fix it? When someone calls, it comes out in Arabic, and when I enter a manual number, it is written in Arabic... Strange
Hi Jalal Al Omari 🙋♂️, I think you are facing a problem with Indian numbers after the update. Don't worry, the solution is very simple. 🧐
First, go to “Settings” then select “General” and then “Language & Region”. You will find an option called “Region Formats”. Change it to “United States” or any country that uses 1234 instead of Indian numbers.
Second, to change the way names are displayed when calling, go to “Settings” and then select “Phone”. There is an option called “Show calls with”, change this option to the way you prefer.
I hope this helps! 😄👍
So, can I change the font?
Hi
In the settings option, then general, then fonts, there are more than fifty fonts, many of which are beautiful. I don’t know what the benefit of them is. I hope someone explains.
These are the fonts that applications use, the application must support the use of fonts in order for you to benefit from them.
It is of no use in the system itself, the device font cannot be changed yet.
Thank you ♥ ️
My device is iPhone 18 Pro Max and I updated to iOS XNUMX and unfortunately I did not find the eraser button in the photos
Is the problem general or specific to me, or has the update not been fully downloaded?
Question
Thanks for the detailed explanation on how to deal with ISO 18. What I would like to know is if this happens, will it show a negative effect on the battery percentage?
Welcome, Sukra! 🍬😄 As for the update's effect on battery percentage, this is a topic that depends on many factors. Mostly, you may notice a slight decrease in battery life immediately after the update, but this is usually temporary. The reason is that your device is doing a lot of tasks in the background such as re-selecting indicators, reassembling images, and other information. Once these tasks are completed, your battery percentage should return to normal. So, don't worry! 😎🔋
I read a lot about update 18 but I am still not impressed with it and I have a feeling that I do not want the update because it does not have anything new that interests me. Changing the location of the icons and changing their location and size are all things that do not matter to me. I thought the update was much better than what was presented. I think that Apple did not provide anything new and innovative after losing the company's owner
In the control center button
Welcome, really a beautiful and simple explanation that helped me a lot. I wanted to know how to put a program except my prayers for the call to prayer and prayer times as if they appear at the top and not as a widget.
How do I change the iPhone font with the new update?
Hello Fares Al-Janabi, 🙋♂️
Unfortunately, there is no option to change the font in the iOS 18 update. Apple is known for its strict control over the design aspects of its devices, and fonts are no exception. But there are always third-party apps that offer some limited solutions.
Don't forget to enjoy the new update! 🍏😉
Some explanations indicate that there is a watch widget with new shapes and colors, but I did not find it. Is it only for the iPhone 16?
Hello Fares Al-Janabi 🙋♂️, There is no such thing as iPhone 16 yet, but as for the widget you are talking about, it is available for all iPhones that support iOS 14 and above. You can add this widget by long pressing on the home screen and pressing the (+) icon at the top, then choose “Clock” or “Clock” and you will see a group of different designs. Choose your favorite design and add it to your screen. 🕰️📱😉
A nice update that makes a lot of jailbreak tools unnecessary. There is a feature that I don’t see many people talking about, which is changing the iPhone font. It has now become available with the new update. An additional point is that there are many features that have not reached the devices, including recording calls and controlling the flash light for devices less than 15pro and other features. Thank you iPhone Islam 🔥🤞🏻
Hi Suleiman 🙋♂️, yes you are right, the new iOS 18 update introduced the feature of changing the iPhone font and this makes us very happy. As for recording calls and controlling the flash light for devices less than iPhone 15 Pro, unfortunately these features have not arrived yet. We hope that Apple will add them in the upcoming updates 🙏. Thank you for your wonderful comment and continuous interaction 🔥🤞🏻.
A nice update that eliminates many jailbreak tools
There is a feature that I do not see many people talking about, which is changing the iPhone
Now available with the new update
An additional point: Many features have not been made available to devices, including call recording, flash light control for devices less than 15pro, and other features.
Thank you iPhone Islam 🔥🤞🏻
Hi Suleiman 🙋♂️, you are talking about really powerful features! Yes, changing the look of the iPhone has become available with the new update, which gives the device a personal character that suits each of our tastes 👌. As for the call recording feature and flash light control, although they have not yet been introduced in official updates from Apple, these features may be available in future updates of the iOS system 🤞. Thank you for your valuable and insightful comment 🔥.
The ios18 update returned the iPhone to the iPhone after it was kidnapped a long time ago away from updates. The camera has been improved terribly. It seems that it is more efficient in adjusting the focus for the first time and the quad pixel focus gave a result as if the iPhone a7rv. The improvement is clear and the details are better and the camera gives a shine in the colors and an improvement in the filters because the image suffered from a weakness in the depth of the details unless it was enlarged, you see it clear, but if it was displayed in its natural size, it did not appear well as if the file for printing was large, but now we see the details without enlargement, and this is what made me hate the iPhone 15 pro max because the pictures are not for social media. Now this problem has been solved and I see the details that any photographer is looking for without enlarging the image
Welcome arkan assaf! 😊🍏 It seems that you are enjoying the new updates in iOS 18 a lot, especially the improvements in the camera. I agree with you, the quad pixel focus and focus adjustment have become noticeably better. 📸💫 It seems that the iPhone 15 Pro Max did not meet your expectations in terms of details in photos, but with the new update, the details became clearer even without zooming in. 🕵️♂️🔎 Thank you for sharing your experience, we really appreciate the opinion of users like you. Enjoy shooting! 🌈📱
