Apple is trying to bring AI features to China

In a year where Apple faced many crises regarding the decline in its sales in the Chinese market! Apple faces a new challenge to provide artificial intelligence features in China. Some news circulated indicating that Apple's CEO visited Apple to negotiate with the Chinese government regarding the provision of artificial intelligence features "Apple IntelligenceFor users in China. But will the laws of the Asian giant allow this?! And will the US-China tension be one of the reasons that will prevent Apple from saving its sales? Here is all the news in this article, God willing.

Apple is trying to convince the Chinese government to roll out AI features

Apple is currently looking to bring its AI capabilities to China. Apple CEO Tim Cook is in China to discuss supply chain issues with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang. Along with the ongoing trade tensions between the US and China, the meeting reportedly included talks on launching Apple’s AI, or as we call it, “Apple Intelligence,” into the Chinese market.

In the same context, the British Financial Times newspaper indicated that Apple is seeking to deal with the regulations in China. A reliable source told the British newspaper that introducing “Apple Intelligence” to the devices that Apple sells in China may face some major obstacles. However, the source indicated that Apple will face a very tedious and lengthy process, but it may be simpler and easier if the company relies on artificial intelligence models previously approved by the Chinese government. Current Chinese laws do not allow the operation of artificial intelligence models from foreign companies.

This is where Cook comes in, as the CEO is reaching out to some of the prominent tech companies in the Chinese market, such as Baidu, ByteDance, and Moonshot. These are very prominent and prestigious companies that provide AI technologies. As is usual for the American veteran, Apple has not issued any official comment on its talks with the Chinese government regarding providing AI technologies. The last thing that was mentioned was by Tim Cook last October during his visit to China with Apple’s COO, Jeff Williams, where he stated that the company is working hard to launch AI features in the Chinese market. Cook then continued that there is a regulatory process behind this matter, and that Apple must complete it, and he confirmed that Apple hopes to provide AI technologies to all its users in the Chinese market as soon as possible.

Here comes the question: Is this the last challenge for Apple to solve the Chinese market crisis and declining sales? Or will Apple gradually disappear from the memory of the Chinese user?! We will see what will happen soon, God willing.

In general, I have a point of view on this subject.
Apple does not benefit much from the Chinese market, nor does the Chinese market benefit much from Apple.
Because I noticed from the experiences of people who went to China and met with Chinese people, most of them use Huawei, Sham, or Honor.
I don't know what the benefit is because I feel that the Chinese have their own advantages and equipment.
