Apple has revealed the finalists for its awards. App Store For 2024, including the professional video camera app Kino, which is in the running for iPhone App of the Year. This year, 45 apps were finalists in 12 categories, including the Apple Vision Pro category for the first time. Apple said the awards honor developers who have delivered “the highest levels of user experience, design and innovation” on the App Store this year.
Among the nominees for the award is Kino, released this year by Lux, the maker of the popular Halide iPhone camera app. Other notable finalists include NYT Games for iPhone, Procreate Dreams for iPad, Zoom for Apple TV, NBA for Vision Pro, and more. Apple says the winner in each category will be announced in the coming weeks. Here are more details about each app.

Application Kino – Pro Video Camera

The app offers training programs for a variety of distances from 5K to ultra-marathon, with multiple features including syncing with compatible devices such as Apple Watch and Garmin, and comprehensive support covering training, nutrition, and injury management. Featuring an active community and exclusive offers, Runna offers training plans for beginners and advanced runners alike, with the option to upgrade to the premium version for the complete running experience.
Application Travel Planner Guide: Tripsy
A comprehensive trip planning app that helps travelers organize every detail of their trip in one place. The app allows users to store travel information such as flights, hotels, restaurants, and tours, and can share the schedule with family and friends. Key features include: Automatically importing reservations from over 700 service providers, instant flight alerts, 10-day weather, access to maps, and calendar sync. Tripsy offers a free version and a Premium version with additional features, and is the perfect companion for travelers to help them plan and organize with ease.

Game AFK Journey
AFK Journey is a strategy RPG set in a magical fantasy world called Esperia, where the player takes on the role of the wizard Merlin to lead heroes from six different factions through complex tactical battles. The game features an innovative hexagonal map combat system that allows for precise hero placement, the ability to choose diverse strategies and employ unique skills, as well as advanced features such as automated battles and easy resource gathering. The game features 46 collectible and upgradable heroes, with a flexible development system that allows for the sharing of experience and equipment between heroes, providing an immersive and enjoyable gaming experience for players of all levels.
Game The WereCleaner
A unique adventure game that combines comedy and stealth, where the player takes on the role of Kyle, a janitor and werewolf who works the night shift. The game features a fully-fledged office world full of intricate details and secret paths, with a dynamic character system that includes many characters that can be avoided, tricked, or eliminated. The game includes seven levels full of strange scenarios and funny surprises, and four versatile tools to deal with various chaos - whether intentional or unintentional.
Game Zenless Zone Zero
Zenless Zone Zero is a 3D action game from HoYoverse, set in a near future where the world is facing a mysterious catastrophe known as the Hollows. The player takes on the role of a professional “Proxy” in the city of New Eridu, the last bastion of humanity, navigating between the city and the dangerous, crumbling areas. The game features a fast-paced combat system that allows for a team of three characters, with dynamic battles based on basic and special attacks, dodging, and chain attacks. The game features a unique visual style, distinctive music, and diverse interactions with different characters from different factions, creating an immersive and enjoyable experience for players.
