in IOS 18.2 updateApple has introduced a new Genmoji feature that lets you create custom emoji that express exactly what you want, going beyond the limitations of traditional emoji. It’s now possible to customize 3D emoji to whatever you want. Unlike regular, static emoji, Genmoji are created using artificial intelligence on the iPhone itself. These emojis work seamlessly in text messages, just like the regular emoji we use every day. That means when you type a message in Messages or Notes, these custom emojis will appear in the same size and shape as regular emoji, not as a separate image or attachment. You can even turn photos of your friends and family in your gallery into emoji that look like them, giving your messages a personal touch.
Requirements for using the Genmoji feature on iPhone
The Genmoji feature is available in iOS 18.2, and the feature also requires Apple Intelligence, which is limited to the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPhone 16 series. It is enabled in Settings, and is now available in English in most regions of the world, with other languages to be added successively, and anyone, anywhere, can activate it by simply changing their device region to an available region.
Compatibility
Although Genmoji works best between iPhones running iOS 18.2, it can also be viewed on devices running iOS 18.1 and later, as well as Macs running macOS Sequoia 15.1 and later.
On older Apple or Android devices, Genmoji appear as regular images, not as emoji embedded in text. Third-party apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, and others need to add support for Genmoji so their users can create and display these custom emojis properly.
How to Create Custom Emojis in Messages
◉ In Messages, start a conversation or select an existing conversation.
◉ Tap the emoji icon in the bottom corner of the keyboard.
◉ In the emoji search field, describe the emoji you want, or alternatively, tap the colorful smiley emoji on the far right, then enter your description.
◉ Click Create New Emoji.
◉ On the new Genmoji screen, you will initially see a blurry shape, wait a moment and it will automatically transform into the emoji you requested to create.
◉ After you create an emoji, navigation arrows will appear at the bottom. You can swipe left to see alternative shapes and designs for the same emoji.
◉ Tap the (…) button to add a description to the emoji or save it as a sticker. You can also share your opinion with Apple by tapping 👍 if you like the emoji or 👎 if you don't.
◉ Tap “Add” when you’re satisfied with your selection, then tap the blue arrow button to submit your new Genmoji.
With Genmoji, you can now create any emoji you can think of. But Apple has put in place certain restrictions to ensure that the emojis are appropriate for everyone. It makes sure to apply content restrictions similar to those in Image Playground to keep the content appropriate, as we mentioned. However, when you try this feature, and once you start creating custom emoji, you will find that traditional emoji are very limited compared to what you can create yourself.

Honestly, I will not change the iPhone language to English, and the reason is that since the iPhone was made, I have been using it in Arabic.
