To start using the Move to iOS app:

- Click “Continue” and enable “Notifications” permissions if necessary.
Wait for the code to be received.
On your iPhone, tap “Continue” when you see the “Transfer from Android” screen. Then, wait for a 10- or 6-digit code to appear. If your Android device displays an alert that your internet connection is weak, you can ignore it.

The one-time code confirms that the two devices are connected. Enter the code on your Android device.
Connect to a temporary Wi-Fi network
Your iPhone will create a temporary Wi-Fi network. When prompted, tap “Connect” to connect to that network on your Android device. Then, wait for the “Transfer Data” screen to appear.
Select the content and wait.
On your Android device, select the content you want to transfer and tap Continue. Then, leave both devices untouched, even if the Android device shows the process is complete, until the loading bar that appears on your iPhone shows complete. Keep both devices close to each other and plugged into power until the transfer is complete. The transfer process may take some time to complete, depending on the size of the content you are transferring.
Here's what you can transfer:
Contacts, message logs, camera photos and videos, photo albums, files and folders, accessibility settings, display settings, web bookmarks, mail accounts, WhatsApp messages and media, and calendars.
If some of your free apps are available on Google Play and the App Store, they will also be transferred. After the transfer is complete, you can download any matching free apps from the App Store.
Transfer your phone number and SIM or eSIM card
While transferring your data from your Android device, you can activate your phone number and SIM or eSIM card. You may be directed to your carrier's website to complete the activation process.
Set up your iPhone
After the loading bar on your iPhone is complete, tap “Done” on your Android device. Then, tap “Continue” on your iPhone and follow the on-screen steps to finish setting up your iPhone.
Finish setup
Make sure to transfer all content.
Some files may require manual transfer.
Need apps that were installed on your Android device? Go to the App Store on your iPhone to download them.
Important Notes
Make sure to leave both devices alone until the transfer is complete. For example, on an Android device, the Move to iOS app should remain on the screen at all times. If you use another app or receive a phone call on your Android device before the transfer is complete, the content will not transfer.
On your Android device, turn off cellular data. Turn off apps or settings that might be affecting your Wi-Fi connection. Then, find Wi-Fi in Settings, tap and hold each known network, and delete it.
You may find that your iPhone runs out of space before the transfer is complete, and your iOS device may appear full before the transfer is complete. If so, erase your iPhone and make sure that the Android content does not exceed the available space on your iPhone.
