Samsung S25 Unveiling Conference Summary
At the Samsung Unpacked 2025 event in San Jose, California, Samsung unveiled the new Galaxy S25 series, which includes three models: the S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. The series features advanced AI technologies, in collaboration with Google’s Gemini model, allowing users to multitask with ease. The phones don’t look much different, except for the slightly curved S25 Ultra. Here are the most important product details in brief:
S25 series
the screen
As for the screens, they haven't changed much from the previous version, and the basic S25 phone still has a 6.2-inch Full HD Plus screen, while the S25 Plus screen remains 6.7-inch Quad HD Plus.
The S25 Ultra has an improved design with slightly curved edges and a titanium frame. It has a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that's slightly larger than last year's 6.9-inch display, up 0.1 inches to compensate for the slight curve, and the same QHD Plus resolution. All three phones have the same variable refresh rate of 120Hz max.
Camera
The S25 and S25 Plus share three rear cameras, while the S25 Ultra features four advanced cameras.
The S25 and S25 Plus have the same three rear cameras, with a 50MP wide main camera, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP telephoto.
While the Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with four cameras, a 200MP wide main camera, a new 50MP ultrawide camera with macro mode, up from the S24 Ultra's 12MP camera, a 50MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP camera for 3x zoom. Everyone still uses the same 12MP front camera.
All S25 phones support 8K recording at 30fps for the main camera, and 4K at 60fps for all cameras. The S25 Ultra features 4K recording at 120fps.
Healer
Samsung is using the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, manufactured with a 3nm process, in all S25 phones anywhere in the world, and it has two “main” cores and six performance cores. It comes with a dedicated neural processing unit to support artificial intelligence. It is up to 40% faster than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This processor is based on the Oryon CPU, which is similar to those found in modern Qualcomm computers.
The processor provides additional space to support more AI functions within the device, including the Generative Edit feature. Most of these features will run faster without the need for server-side processing.
Samsung claims that the processor offers a 37% improvement in CPU performance and a 30% improvement in GPU performance compared to the previous version. However, these results cannot be confirmed in practice until rigorous testing is conducted.
All phones come with 12GB of RAM, and storage options up to 1TB.
the battery
The S25 series maintains the previous battery capacities: 4,000 mAh for the S25, 4,900 mAh for the S25 Plus, and 5,000 mAh for the S25 Ultra. Samsung claims to offer the longest battery life ever on a phone thanks to hardware and software improvements. It also supports fast charging via USB-C and 2W Qi15 wireless charging using special magnetic cases.
Price and availability
The S25 series is available for pre-order and will be available in stores starting February 7, 2025, with prices starting at $800 for the 25GB S128, $1000 for the 25GB S256 Plus, and $1300 for the 25GB S256 Ultra. Prices vary based on storage and features selected.
Phones in general offer improvements in almost everything, and with the integration of artificial intelligence capabilities, they offer features similar to those in Apple's intelligence.
S25 Edge phone
At the end of the event, Samsung gave a glimpse of a new phone called the S25 Edge, which features a slim and elegant design. The company did not disclose additional details about this model, which has sparked curiosity and anticipation from users for more information in the future.
Project Moohan Glasses
Samsung has unveiled the “Project Moohan” glasses, which combine virtual and augmented reality technologies, and compete directly with Apple Vision Pro glasses, to the point that they resemble them in design, and operate on the Android XR system developed by Google, which supports the transition between virtual environments and remaining in the real world, via the switching feature provided by the cameras.
The glasses rely on Google's Gemini assistant, which provides control over them and insight into what the user is seeing. The glasses are described as lightweight and ergonomically designed to ensure user comfort, although the exact weight has not yet been disclosed. "Project Moohan" will be the first glasses to run Android XR, and is expected to be officially launched in late 2025.

iPhone SE 4 expected to feature A18 chip
Sources on the X platform revealed that the fourth generation of the iPhone SE will be equipped with an A18 chip, with possible support for 5G networks and 8GB of RAM. The source also expects it to come with a 6.1-inch OLED screen and a 48-megapixel rear camera.
This version will be a major upgrade over the current version that carries the A15 Bionic chip, as it will get rid of the phone's old features such as the fingerprint button and old ports. It is expected to be announced in March or April next year, with a possible slight increase in the price, which currently starts at $429.
iPad 11 may not support Apple's AI
New leaks have revealed doubts about the iPad 11's support for Apple Intelligence technology, as informed sources indicated that the device may carry the A16 chip that does not support artificial intelligence features, contrary to previous expectations mentioned by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg about support for the A17 Pro chip.
The iPad 11 is expected to be announced in March or April, with multiple possibilities including different versions or reduced requirements for Apple Intelligence support. The release will be accompanied by an updated Magic Keyboard, but no major design changes are expected.
Trump Elon Musk to buy TikTok
US President Donald Trump has voiced his support for a possible purchase of TikTok by Elon Musk, proposing a 50-50 ownership structure with the US government. This comes after the app was temporarily shut down for 12 hours following a Supreme Court ruling requiring Chinese company ByteDance to divest its US operations.
Trump reversed his previous stance on banning the app over security concerns, saying he won the youth vote with TikTok. He also suggested Oracle founder Larry Ellison as a potential buyer, given that Oracle already hosts most of the platform’s servers.
Truecaller Supports Real-Time Caller Identification on iOS
Truecaller has rolled out an update to its iOS app that brings the Real-Time Caller ID feature, which Apple made available to third-party apps in iOS 18. Users can enable the feature through Settings and select Truecaller’s app settings.
The company has developed a new server architecture using homomorphic encryption, with a separate encrypted database for iOS users. The app has around 750,000 iOS subscribers, representing 40% of the company's revenue.
The update includes additional improvements such as automatic spam call blocking, call history search, and the ability to view up to 2,000 past contacts. Premium subscriptions start at $9.99 per month, with family plans and multiple subscription options.
iOS 18.3 Update Adds New Visual Intelligence Features to iPhone 16
Apple has added new visual intelligence features to the iPhone 18.3 in iOS 16, allowing users to automatically add events to the calendar when photographing posters or flyers using the camera control feature, where the date can be tapped when it appears in the visual intelligence interface.
The update also brings the ability to identify plants and animals in real time, as a clickable bubble appears when viewing an animal or plant, providing additional information. It is worth noting that this feature is exclusive to iPhone 16 phones and can be activated by long-pressing the camera control button.
New iPad Pro launching this year
A report from The Elec suggests that Apple is planning to launch a new iPad Pro model this year, likely for both the 11-inch and 13-inch versions, with only minor changes expected after the upgrade to an OLED display last year.
According to the report, the components are expected to start mass production in April or May, suggesting a late launch this year, with the new M5 processors likely to arrive in late 2025 or early 2026. New versions of the iPad Air and iPad 11 are also expected to launch by March or April.
Apple drops to third place in China's smartphone market
Apple saw a significant decline in iPhone sales in China in the fourth quarter of 2024, falling from first to third place with a market share of 17.1%, behind Huawei and Xiaomi, which controlled 18.1% and 17.2% of the market, respectively.
The decline is attributed to several factors, including intense local competition and the lack of AI features in China due to regulatory restrictions, while Huawei managed to achieve 15.5% growth thanks to the AI features in its flagship phones.
New iPhone SE 4 leak
A new leak confirms the possibility of launching the new iPhone 4 SE this year, as leaker Evan Blass published an image of the source code mentioning the phone and an alleged image of the device that will come with a dynamic island instead of the traditional notch.
The design is expected to resemble the basic generation iPhone 14 or iPhone 16, with potential features including a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, USB-C port, 48MP rear camera, new A-series processor, and 8GB of RAM to support AI.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new iPhone SE4 is likely to launch in March or April 2025, with a slight price increase expected compared to the current version that starts at $429.

(She claims - nothing new... and other words, hints, and a style of writing the news in a way that belittles, diminishes, and demeans)
This is, in brief, the news of the iPhone Islam for Galaxy products that the article did not show. It mentioned it, but in its style it concealed it. But take, in contrast, any news about Apple products and notice the style of writing the news and the article!!!
In general, I am not a Galaxy fan, although they have developed, impressed and innovated, but due to habit and familiarity, I cannot switch from one system to another different system.
But my advice is to treat people in their proper place and not to deprive people of their things.
I hope Apple invests in the iPad system, as the M4 processor is more than enough to perform all the tasks assigned to it, so there is no need to add an M5.
Edge is now slimmer! After being waterfall screen back then before it was cancelled!
Finally, the era of corporate slimming madness begins!
The next device could be from Honor as a slim one!
The thing I liked most about the Galaxy S25 is the flat edges. I've been a fan of flat edges since the iPhone 4 and they're better in terms of grip.
iPad 11 will be strange if the chip is not supported by artificial intelligence, as most current Apple devices support it, and if it is to reduce the cost, old chips such as the M2, for example, can be used to meet the minimum requirements for artificial intelligence.
Hi Ahmed 👋, I totally agree! The flat edges have a special character and make the device look elegant and modern. As for the AI in the iPad 11, it is not necessarily related to reducing the cost, as Apple always seeks to provide advanced technology in its products. And don't worry, if there are old chips like M2, they will be able to meet the minimum requirements for AI 😄👍.
