How to set up an account recovery contact

If you no longer want to be a contact to recover someone else's account, you can remove yourself by following these steps:
◉ Open Settings and tap on your name.
◉ Choose Sign in & Security, then Account Recovery.
◉ Under the “Recover account for” section, tap the person’s name.
◉ Click on Remove Contact.
◉ After completing these steps, the person will receive a message stating that you are no longer their recovery contact.
Important Notes
All Apple devices associated with your account must be updated to iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS Monterey, or later, and your Apple Watch to watchOS 8 or later.
If you don't update all devices, you won't be able to use the restore contact feature until you update it or remove it from your account.
