Your old Apple Watch is getting some cool new features.

Apple recently announced new models of its smartwatch, but surprisingly, older models will also receive some of the best new features introduced this year.

High blood pressure notifications

A very new feature is the ability for the Apple Watch to alert the user if it detects signs of chronic high blood pressure. This is very important, as high blood pressure can lead to serious conditions such as heart attacks or strokes.

However, this feature requires a watch that has an optical heart rate sensor, which means it works with watches like the iPhone Series 11, Ultra 3, as well as the Series 9, Series 10, and Ultra 2 models, but not the SE 3 or the first-generation Ultra.

Sleep Score feature

The second feature is Sleep Score, which gives the watch a score from 0 to 100 regarding the quality of your sleep. This feature helps you determine whether you slept well or not. It works on Apple models running watchOS 26 (Series 6 and later), as well as the second-generation Watch SE and all Ultra models.

Wrist Flick feature

A fun and easy-to-use feature where you can simply flick your wrist away from you (swipe) to stop or dismiss notifications, calls, or timers, without having to touch the screen.

From the website PhoneIslam: A person wearing a black smartwatch with an analog watch face on their left wrist, and in the background, another watch strap is visible but not clearly visible.

This feature is called Wrist Flick, and it's available for Series 9 and later models, as well as Ultra 2 and later, but it's not supported on even the newer SE models.

Other new features

The new watchOS 26 will also add features such as a new "Liquid Glass" design, Workout Buddy, new apps in Control Center, improvements to Smart Replies for iMessage, and the ability to customize on-screen widgets.

watchOS 26 will officially launch on September 15, and the new watches will be available for pre-order with delivery scheduled for September 19.

Do you think these new features will improve your experience with your old Apple Watch? And why?

There's a minor glitch in the article, the Wrist Flick feature is supported on the Apple Watch SE 3.

Of course, I expected it to support two relatively old models because the 11 processor is the same as the 10, and the 9 is equivalent to them! Just as happened with the apnea, the 10 came and included the 9! As for the optical sensor, it was present in the eighth generation approximately, but the processor power is old and consumes energy, so it might not be supported!

You should get a Garmin watch with a 45-day battery life.

True, by God... The only benefit I received from the Apple Watch was the blood oxygen level, which helped me during my infection with Corona, and other than that, nothing noteworthy.

God is your agent. The Apple Watch is just advertised strongly. Otherwise, there is nothing useful in it. All of its features are just a joke.
Other than receiving calls and notifications, it doesn't help you at all. Adding to its very, very funny battery makes you laugh at Apple for lagging behind its Chinese competitors. Apple is the world champion in advertising and exaggerating features that have no meaning or benefit. They only want to sell devices and withdraw your money to their bank accounts. Personally, I love the iPhone, but I do not recommend buying an Apple Watch. Don't be fooled by the advertisements. Keep your money in your pocket because the Apple Watch, by God, does not give you value for the price.
Greetings

It's primarily a medical watch that works hard in the background monitoring health signs. How do you want it to conserve battery power? The important thing is that the watch markets itself through users' experiences in saving their lives, after God!
I think the watch should be upgraded before the iPhone every year if it comes with health features!

You're not right. After God, I depend on it and it's helped me a lot to monitor my health, especially monitoring my blood oxygen and shortness of breath, as I have asthma and I used to suffer from sinusitis and snoring while sleeping. Please don't criticize something without trying it. It's not in defense of Apple 😊 because it's not my company and I don't have shares in it, and they don't give me a gift when I praise them 😂😊
