Setting up custom ringtones on your iPhone just got a lot easier. IOS 26A feature many users have been waiting for, Apple now offers a simple four-step process that works directly from the Files app.

You can convert any MP3 or M4A audio file, less than 30 seconds long, into a custom ringtone with just a few taps. Whether it's a clip from your favorite sermon, a voice memo, or a downloaded sound effect, the process is now easy. Here's how to set a custom ringtone without having to open any additional apps. IOS 26.
Find the audio clip
First, go to YouTube, or any website from which you want to download an audio clip.

Then copy the link, after that you can download only the audio from any application such as the PhoneGram application.
Go to Tools, then Download and paste the link.

Then click on the download button.

Then, click the download icon. Download options will appear. Choose M4A (audio only). After downloading, click the share button.

Save the audio file to the Files app. Then open the Files app and tap the file you saved there.

Then press the share button and choose the use as ringtone button.

Additional notes
- The ringtone must be less than 30 seconds long. In the next update to the PhoneGram app, we'll introduce an audio trimmer.
- Supported files are MP3 and M4A.
- If you don't find the Use as Ringtone option just click More and it will appear.
