From the PhoneIslam website: An illustrated open book with Arabic text on its pages, above Arabic words that read "The Book: A Perspective Quran Application" on a gradient background, representing a modern Quran experience.

Quranic Appearance

Make sure you choose the right Quran theme for you.
Press the main menu button, then select Appearance.

From the PhoneIslam website: The interface of a Quranic application in Arabic displays a settings menu for selecting reading modes and display themes, all covered by a page of Quranic text.

You might prefer a simulation of the printed Quran, or a full-screen experience like the Madinah Quran, or perhaps you are interested in large font.

From PhoneIslam: A digital screenshot shows three columns of Arabic text from the Quran app, with verses appearing with diacritics and navigation icons at the top and bottom.
You can also switch between light and dark modes at any time.

From PhoneIslam: A screenshot of a Quranic text in Arabic from Surah Al-Baqarah, verses 30-37, displayed on a modern Quran app with a black background and gold accents.

The most important feature in any Quran application is the features that make reading the Quran easier, and I think you agree with me.
Therefore, the book's application was designed to be straightforward and clear:

No complicated screens, what you see in front of you is everything.

From the PhoneIslam website: A digital page of the Quran displaying the first verses of Surah Al-Baqarah in Arabic, with browsing options at the bottom and a prompt to easily browse the Quran through the Holy Quran application.

  • Click on the page number to navigate between pages.
  • Press the part number to navigate between parts
  • Click on the name of the surah to navigate between surahs

Everything is just a touch away from you.

Simplicity with powerful features

Despite the simplicity of the interface, each screen contains multiple features.

For exampleThe page navigation screen is divided according to the parts of the Quran, and you can easily access any page within any part.

From the Phone Islam website: A digital screen displaying page 16 of the Holy Quran from Surah Al-Baqarah, highlighting the verse and the navigation bar below it, all within a modern Quran interface, Quran application.

If you move to a page and then wish to return, you will find buttons to go back to the previous or next page.

When you open the Surah selection screen, you can press the Surah number to add it to your favorites, making it easier to access the Surahs you read regularly.

From the PhoneIslam website: A screenshot of an advanced application that displays a list of surahs in a modern Quran with play buttons, surah names, places to visit, and a search bar at the bottom.

From this screen you can also quickly listen to the recitation of any surah.

Primary goal

But let's return to the main objective: reading the Quran.
You are reading this now, and you need to go do something quick and come back later.
Just tap once on the verse, and a frame will appear around it, and even if you close the application, it will highlight the verse you stopped at when you return.

From the PhoneIslam website: A page from the Holy Quran showing several verses from the Holy Quran in Arabic script, with many verses highlighted in light yellow, as shown in the Quran app for a modern reading experience.

And it doesn't stop there.
You can also use bookmarks:

  • Press and hold on the verse
  • Select the bookmark icon
  • Then press the (plus) sign.

You can choose pre-made names such as Save or Read, or create a custom name for yourself.

From the PhoneIslam website: The Holy Quran app screen displays bookmark categories, a reminder to read Surah Al-Baqarah, and the option to add a reminder to read the Holy Quran - providing you with a truly modern experience for reading the Holy Quran.

After creating the bookmark for the first time, you will not need to recreate it; just click on it to refresh it with the new verse where you stopped.

From PhoneIslam: A screenshot of the Arabic-language reminder app screen for the Quran app, showing options to set reminder days and times, with the time set to 7:00 PM and the days of the week displayed in circles.

Even better, you can add a reminder for each bookmark.
For example: Bookmark the first verse of Surah Al-Kahf, then add a reminder for Friday at a time that suits you.

Now you have everything you need to navigate easily through the Book of God.
Read and reflect…

But wait, what if you wanted to know the interpretation of a verse while you were reflecting?

Simple 😊 Press and hold on the verse, and the interpretation will appear. You can change the interpretation book by pressing on its name.

From PhoneIslam: A screenshot of a Quran app showing verses from Surah Al-Baqarah, along with Tafsir Al-Saadi's commentary in Arabic. The app icons appear at the top and bottom, reflecting a modern, contemporary Quran interface.

What if you wanted to know the meaning of just one word?
No problem.

Click on the word inside the interpretation screen, and its meaning will appear.

From the PhoneIslam website: The Quran app offers an Arabic verse with translation, word meanings, and a box explaining the meaning of each selected word for deeper understanding.

You can also press the play button to hear the word pronounced, especially if it is a word that is difficult to pronounce, without having to hear the entire verse.

Advanced Features

I hear you say:

"All of this is beautiful, but where is the progress?"

Now let us show you the advanced features.

We told you that you can hear the pronunciation of any word, but we haven't yet told you that you can also:

Show all verses in which this word appears

With all its derivatives and a graph showing its frequency in the Holy Quran

From the PhoneIslam website: A graph in the Holy Quran application shows the frequency of the word “fools” in the Holy Quran, showing its occurrence in 5 verses and providing relevant statistics for deeper understanding.

You can also find out:

  • All word formations
  • How it is written in the Quran
  • Its linguistic root
  • And the order of their revelation or the order of the Quran

From the PhoneIslam website: A screenshot from a Quran app showing the word “the foolish” with details about the number of verses, its repetition, its roots, its derivations, and its forms.

Don't these features help you to have a deeper understanding of God's book?

Research in the Quran

If you want to search the Quran, open the search screen.

From PhoneIslam: A screenshot of a modern Arabic Quran app, highlighting search options and step-by-step instructions for finding words or phrases in the Holy Quran.

You will find many features in it, the most important of which is artificial intelligence search.

Search in your natural language, such as:

  • "Which verse mandated the hijab for women?"
  • "What are the verses in which the prohibition of alcohol was mentioned gradually according to the order of revelation?"

From the PhoneIslam website: The voice search interface of the Quran app in Arabic shows a microphone icon and the text "What is the verse that mandated the hijab for women?" which translates to "What is the verse that mandated the hijab for women?"

You can also:

  • Browse verses by topic
  • Using the questions section of the Quran for contemplation in a unique way through questions and verses that answer them

Helping to memorize the Book of God

And if you still feel this is not enough, let me introduce you to additional features:

  • Track reading
  • Memorization by listening
  • Review the memorization

You can access it from the main menu.

From the PhoneIslam website: Three icons with Arabic text from a modern Quran application: a brain with the words "Reviewing memorization by listening" written on it, an ear with the words "Memorizing by listening" written on it, and a microphone with the words "Reviewing reading" written on it.

Follow the reading:

A feature that uses artificial intelligence to recognize your recitation of verses, and automatically identifies the verse you are reading.
It is very useful for concentration, especially when using the device in landscape mode, as you do not need to touch the screen, since the application moves between verses and pages automatically.

Memorization by listening:

The sheikh recites the verse, and you repeat after him, and after you finish, he automatically moves on to the next verse.
You can recite any verse by clicking on it again.

Review the memorization:

From the PhoneIslam website: Arabic text above an unclear Quran page, displaying pop-up windows about a new feature and memorization review in a modern Quran application, with buttons to start the review or start from verse 6.

A simple feature to ensure you have memorized the surah.
The application hides the verses, and the verse appears once you have finished reciting it.

From PhoneIslam: A screenshot of a Quranic text from Surah Al-Baqarah, verses 143-144, displayed in Arabic on a modern Quran app with navigation and audio controls at the bottom.

Important Notice:
These features do not correct recitation errors, as they rely on artificial intelligence within your device to protect your privacy and at a low cost. We pray that God will facilitate the development of recitation correction features in the future.

This is not all

From PhoneIslam: A screenshot of the Holy Quran app shows tracking statistics, including current line, activity data, total reading time, most read surahs, all displayed with elegant graphs and icons for a modern experience.

There is also the My Journey with the Quran feature, which tracks your reading and counts the time you spend with the Book of God, as well as widgets to help you remember to read daily.

From the PhoneIslam website: The interface of the Holy Quran app displays 57 minutes of reading today, 0 minutes of listening, the current session is 10, and a verse from Surah Al-Isra, celebrating a 12-day consecutive modern Quran reading.

And always remember:
The application of the book is merely a tool that God has provided for you, but don't forget the true goal… drawing closer to God Almighty 🤍

The book app is very special, and we are working to make it even better. We just ask that you share the app with everyone you know, and let them try it and judge its quality for themselves.

A commendable effort.
Note that when you use the recitation feature, the last verse on the page does not appear and the application moves to the next page. It is better, especially at the end of the page, to keep the verse for a few seconds until it appears, then move to the next page.
If it were possible to add the pages of the Medina Mushaf, 1405 AH edition, and to add the pages of the Shamarly Mushaf, it would be better.
May God reward you abundantly, benefit others through you, elevate your status, illuminate your faces, gladden your hearts, and protect your families and loved ones. Thank you, a thank you beyond measure.

He who does not thank people does not thank God.
Do you think this style is appropriate for my brother Shady?
First, thank people, and then politely ask them to add a feature that you consider useful and important.
And don't forget that each application has its own unique features.
The brothers here are thankfully trying to build and develop a good program for all Muslims. May God benefit us and them through it, and may God place it in the balance of their good deeds.
Thank you very much to the donor for the year and please contact me to find out how you can donate to this wonderful program.
We hope that in the future there will be an Android version in case we switch to an Android phone 😅

I'm truly surprised by you all!!!! …… Why don't you add a revolutionary feature like the (((Glorious Quran))) app, which automatically scrolls the page from top to bottom while reading without the reader touching the screen… and allows you to control its speed!!

Because we have a better feature, which is reading tracking, so if you stop, the clip pauses, and if you recite the verse more than once, it pauses for you. The tracking is smarter and more modern.

Excellent app! If possible, could you please add pages of the Tajweed Quran in the future? May God reward you.

A great app for a great book
Thank you for your efforts and for the creativity and innovation you bring to Arabic content. Special thanks to the donor; may God reward him abundantly.

The search feature is very great and makes searching and investigating easier. For example, I always wanted to know the frequency of words and their positions, and why this word came with this word and the same word with another word in other positions.

Thank you for your kindness.

May God reward you.
If possible, please add reciters like Saad Al-Ghamdi and Salah Bukhatir.
If possible, please also convert the verse numbers to Arabic numerals 321…

I still use your iQuran Pro app; I bought it when it was first released. It's the best app for reading the Holy Quran on mobile.
However, the most powerful Quran application currently available on all devices is “Al-Quran Al-Hadi”
