No one likes goodbyes, but in the world of Apple, goodbyes always mean something brighter, faster (and perhaps more expensive) is on its way! While Apple was busy unveiling 10 brand-new devices this week, behind the scenes it was conducting a major "cleansing," officially discontinuing 15 products from its current lineup. Some of these devices were only a year old, while we finally said goodbye to some long-standing favorites that had been around since 2019.

From iPhone to professional monitors
To make room for newcomers such as iPhone 17e وMacBook NeoApple has removed a large number of products from its official store. Surprisingly, the list includes very recent devices, such as the iPhone 16e with the A18 processor, which was released in 2025, and 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models equipped with the M3 processor.
These products are now a thing of the past:
- iPhone 16e
- iPad Air (11 and 13 inch with M3 processor)
- MacBook Air (13 and 15 inch with M4 processor)
- MacBook Pro devices with different processors (M4 Pro and Max)
- The powerful Mac Studio M3 Max with 512GB of memory
The end of the era of iconic screens

The changes weren't limited to mobile devices; the display sector also saw a shift. Apple discontinued its Studio Display with the A13 Bionic chip, a favorite for many since 2022. But the biggest news is the departure of the legendary Pro Display XDR, which debuted in 2019, along with its iconic Pro Stand and VESA adapter. It seems Apple has decided that 2026 is the perfect time for a complete desktop overhaul.

If you're a bargain hunter, this is your golden opportunity! While these devices have disappeared from the official Apple Store, third-party retailers have already begun offering significant discounts to clear their remaining stock. Meanwhile, Apple has already started accepting pre-orders for the upcoming devices, which will begin shipping to users on Wednesday, March 11.
