After April and May, which were relatively quiet months in Apple’s corridors this year, it seems there is plenty of excitement awaiting us as we approach the WWDC 2026 Worldwide Developers Conference and beyond. If you think Apple will settle for its traditional annual updates, you are mistaken! Exclusive reports and leaks indicate that the company plans to launch at least 15 new and exciting products later this year, many of which are awaiting the green light to coincide with the launch of the smarter and more personalized version of the Siri voice assistant.

The Upcoming iPhone Family and the Surprise of the Foldable “Ultra” Edition

We start, of course, with everyone’s favorite star, the iPhone. This year, we are in for unprecedented upgrades starting with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. These phones will be powered by the super-fast A20 Pro chip, with a smaller Dynamic Island and a simplified Camera Control button. Leaks also point to a stunning new color option, Dark Cherry, in addition to a variable aperture for at least one rear camera and Apple’s C2 modem, which supports satellite internet browsing for 5G networks. The only leaked difference for the iPhone 18 Pro Max is that it might come slightly thicker than its younger sibling, making it the heaviest iPhone ever.

But the bombshell surprise lies in the foldable iPhone Ultra! Yes, Apple is finally preparing to enter the foldable phone market with a device featuring a massive 7.7-inch internal screen and a 5.3-inch external screen. The phone will feature two rear cameras and one front camera, with Touch ID integrated into the power button instead of Face ID. It is expected that iOS 27 will be fully customized for this phone to allow for side-by-side app usage and multitasking inspired by the iPad system.
Apple Watches and Anticipated iPad Upgrades
Moving to the wrist, we expect the unveiling of the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. Both models will come with a faster or newer S11 chip, with design changes that may include the addition of Touch ID and possibly new health sensors, although there are disagreements among leakers on this point. New satellite features are also expected for the Ultra 4 and the third generation and beyond, such as Apple Maps via satellite and sending/receiving images via messages using satellite connectivity.

As for tablets, we will see the iPad 12, which will receive a significant performance leap by moving from the A16 chip to the A18 or A19 chip to support Apple Intelligence. The iPad mini will also receive an amazing upgrade including the A19 Pro or A20 Pro chip, a long-awaited OLED screen, a revolutionary speaker system based on vibrations, and a water-resistant design to be the perfect companion in all conditions.
Updated Mac Devices and Apple’s Smart Home Revolution
Mac devices will also receive a fair share of updates. We will see Mac Studio devices with the new M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, a Mac mini with M5 and M5 Pro chips, and an iMac with an M5 chip in fun new color options. But the real excitement lies in the completely redesigned MacBook Ultra, planned for late 2026 or early 2027. This beast will come with M6 Pro and M6 Max chips, a touch-enabled OLED screen, a Dynamic Island, and an ultra-thin design, with macOS 27 providing a fully customized touch interface for this device. However, Apple may have to delay the launch of some Mac models, such as the Mac Studio, Mac mini, and MacBook Ultra, until 2027 due to the global shortage of RAM chips.

In the smart home sector, Apple is preparing to make a big splash. We will see a new Apple TV with an A17 Pro chip to support the improved Siri, an N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7 support, and there are leaks about a built-in FaceTime camera.
The HomePod mini will also get an S9 or newer chip to support the advanced Siri, an N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7, and improved sound quality, with the possibility of a new red color being released.
Besides that, there is a new, larger HomePod that supports the improved Siri. The most prominent product is the all-new “Home Hub” platform, which will come with a square screen ranging from 6 to 7 inches, an A18 chip to run Apple Intelligence, and FaceTime support, allowing it to be placed on a table or mounted on a wall. This home hub may be accompanied by security accessories such as a security camera/sensor and a doorbell that supports Face ID.

And let’s not forget the leaks talking about AirPods Ultra equipped with cameras to support the Visual Intelligence feature, although whether their launch date is this year or later remains uncertain.
