Five tricks in iOS 26 that will make your iPhone look completely different

With the release of iOS 26, organizing your iPhone has become smarter and more appealing than ever. Apple introduced advanced customization tools in this update, allowing you to balance aesthetics with ease of use. Whether you prefer a minimalist, clean design or meticulous organization, these five strategies will help you transform your home screen into a well-organized space that reflects your personality and boosts your productivity.

From PhoneIslam: The iPhones feature custom home screens with large digital clocks and organized app icons, showcasing great ways to organize your iPhone using iOS tricks for a sleek look.

Use folders to organize your screen and reduce clutter.

From PhoneIslam: A smartphone, possibly running iPhone 17 or exploring iOS tricks, displays a home screen with a watchtower background, three empty widget slots, and four app icons in the dock. Other devices and a plant are visible on a white surface.

Organizing apps into folders remains the best way to declutter your home screen, but iOS 26 takes it a step further. You can now categorize your apps into clear groups like "Social," "Work," or "Entertainment" for quick access. New is the ability to integrate these folders with widgets that complement their functionality; imagine, for example, a fitness app folder with a widget that displays your daily step count, or a productivity folder with a calendar.

To add a touch of beauty, try activating Night Mode to link folders and tools together with a modern and eye-friendly look, making navigation easier and reducing visual distractions.

Minimalist design adopted

From PhoneIslam: The elegant iPhone 17 features a sleek and simple black and white home screen that displays social media app icons and the word "Hello" in a font written in the lower center, highlighting the elegant simplicity and intelligence of the iOS system.

If you prefer a calm and uncluttered look, the minimalist design is the perfect choice. The new system offers tools to help you arrange your apps seamlessly with your wallpaper, and you can even remove app names from under the icons for a cleaner, more streamlined appearance. You can also unify the icon colors to match the overall iPhone theme. To maintain this uncluttered look, you can move widgets to the sidebar, keeping your home screen dedicated to only what's essential, creating a peaceful environment conducive to focus.

Coordinate the backgrounds to unify the phone's appearance.

From PhoneIslam: An iPhone 17 displays a weather widget and several app icons on its screen on a white surface next to the edge of a tablet and a small plant in a small pot, demonstrating some useful iOS 26 tricks.

Visual harmony enhances the user experience, and iOS 26 makes this easier with dynamic wallpapers that adapt to your taste, whether you prefer nature scenes or modern designs. The secret lies in customizing the colors of app icons and widgets to blend seamlessly with the background colors; for example, the weather widget can blend into a stunning natural background. Also, try using monochrome or gradient designs for a professional and elegant look, where every element appears to complement each other in a single work of art.

Organization using split backgrounds

From PhoneIslam: A smartphone running iOS 26 displays a custom home screen with numerous app icons and widgets placed on a white surface next to a tablet and a potted plant.

Split-screen functionality is a fantastic feature of the new system, allowing you to visually divide your screen into distinct zones. For example, you can dedicate the top half of the screen to displaying important information such as reminders, news, and weather updates, while leaving the bottom half for your most frequently used apps, keeping them readily accessible. This layout is further enhanced by the combination of dark mode and oversized icons, creating a striking and practical visual contrast that makes accessing information faster and easier.

Ultimate simplicity with a simple phone mode

From PhoneIslam: The iOS 26 smartphone displays the time as 11:10 AM on Thursday, January 15, with a simple home screen featuring large text and five app options: Messages, Photos, Safari, Notes, and Settings.

For those looking to reduce phone addiction, iOS 26 offers a Dumb Phone Mode. This mode simplifies the home screen to the extreme, displaying only the most essential apps like Messages, Calendar, and Weather. You can rearrange these apps to suit your daily routine, transforming your phone into a tool for accomplishment rather than entertainment. This mode aligns with the global trend toward digital wellbeing and encourages more conscious and targeted phone use.

Try to simplify the explanation by writing it out in sequential steps; that would be better.

Why is there no translation for the video?

Grouping similar applications into a single folder is inefficient. This method has been around for a long time, but it's useless because the box where they're placed is small and doesn't enlarge to be clearly visible.

The iPhone Islam app is no longer what it used to be; it's become boring because of the ads and videos that pop up every time you touch the screen.
Goodbye until further notice

I tried most of the things, but I went back to the original. What I liked most was the dynamic background and the large digital clock with the glass transparency options. Beautiful.

Very annoyed

Dear management, please reduce the number of ads. People are genuinely fed up, as I've read in previous comments. One commenter even threatened you. We are not willing to pay a single penny for a subscription in exchange for removing the ads.
God is my refuge and my protector. Life with the internet is truly bad, but unfortunately, this destructive invention has emerged.
There is no power nor strength except with God, the Most High, the Almighty, regarding this calamity.

Putting applications of similar type into one folder

We didn't notice anything unusual; it's probably just a marketing ploy, or perhaps an invitation to buy expensive wallpapers. How do you do these things? There's no evidence to support this claim.

Well done, but the article lacks a simple method of application.
