The “John Ternus” Era: Launching 10 New Product Categories That Will Change the Game!

It seems the halls of Apple are experiencing a state of technical fervor. As we await John Ternus taking over as CEO of the company later this year, the outlines of one of Apple’s most massive future plans are unfolding before us. If Tim Cook gave us the Apple Watch, AirPods, and the Vision Pro, then Ternus will inherit an arsenal consisting of about 10 new product categories that will invade our lives over the next few years.

John Ternus and the future of Apple

Apple’s Upcoming Smart Home Revolution

According to the latest leaks from Mark Gurman, Apple does not intend to leave your living room to chance. The bulk of these efforts is focused on the “Smart Home.” Imagine a home device powered by artificial intelligence that works like a HomePod but with a built-in screen! You could hang it on the wall using an elegant magnetic system or place it on a stand as a speaker.

This device will run on an entirely new operating system built around the “Siri” assistant and will support FaceTime calls with facial recognition to personalize the experience for each family member. But it doesn’t stop there; Apple is also working on a home security camera that focuses obsessively on privacy (as we have come to expect) to compete with giants like Ring and Google Nest. Perhaps most surprisingly, they are developing a robotic display that sits on a table and comes with a robotic arm to follow you during video calls, as if you had a personal cameraman!

Wearables That Read Your Thoughts… and Your Surroundings

The wearables sector is seeing massive investments that are just as important. Apple is currently working on developing smart glasses equipped with cameras, in a clear move to compete with Meta in this arena. To add a touch of science fiction, work is underway on a small smart pendant based on artificial intelligence, which you can wear on your clothes or as a necklace to capture environmental data and feed smart features on your iPhone.

Do you think we are done? Of course not. There are leaks indicating the development of an advanced version of AirPods equipped with low-resolution cameras! No, you won’t take selfies with them; rather, they will be used to support visual alerts and improve navigation. All of this paves the way for the bigger goal: lightweight augmented reality glasses that might replace the iPhone entirely by 2028 or 2030.

Magical Touches on Mac and iPad

On the computer front, it seems Apple will finally surrender to the long-awaited desires of the masses. The company is preparing to launch the first MacBook Pro with a touchscreen in late 2026 or early 2027. If this revolutionary idea is well-received, we may see the touch interface expand to include other Mac models.

Additionally, Apple engineers are working hard on developing a foldable iPad with a massive screen size of about 20 inches. Although this project is still shrouded in mystery and no final decision has been made yet, just thinking about an iPad of this size that folds like a laptop makes us very excited about what the future holds for us with Apple.
