You can now control the Apple TV via the HomePod mini using Siri, to turn the TV on and off and search for content, a feature that was present in Chromecast devices with Google Home and Amazon devices. Finally got it HomePod.

You can now use the HomePod mini as a speaker for your Apple TV, while this feature was previously exclusive to the larger HomePod, the HomePod mini now has the same feature.


Door cameras recognize parcels

Your surveillance cameras that are connected to Apple's home video recording system on i-Cloud HomeKit Secure Video can know when there is a package delivered to your door and tell you a notification if you want, and there are features to identify people, animals or cars in front of the house of the house.

Currently, only two surveillance cameras are compatible with this system, Logitech View and Netatmo Smart Video Doorbell.
